mouseover/hover actions

Where are hover states??? Is there an official statement on this? Trying to implement this in our web design pipeline but it's hard to wireframe a navigation without hover states.

If it does not include this function, I will not use XD, I can not submit prototypes that can not include effects necessary for understanding the project

Adobe XD will NOT implement hover effects as they see it as primarily a tool for apps rather than websites. Apps on your phone wont ever require hover effect so do NOT wait for it to be implemented as it WONT ever be. Hover effects is included on all other Adobe products from InDesign to Muse. So we are thr customer need to understand why Adobe wont ever implement it as we should already know by now that in its 2 years they havent officaily mentioned anything about Hover effects. I rest my case

Yes! this feature would be huge deal for me. I'm already teetering between XD, Sketch, and Invision Studio and leaning toward XD for the ease of already being familiar with keyboard shortcuts and cross functionality with the other cc software. Please add this feature...

This has been around forever. Why it so hard to add it to XD?

Oh, and another thing that would be useful, is the ability to set local anchors for single page responsive prototyping.

It's an obvious addition as everyone here agrees that a hoover state option for the prototypes section is much needed.

Perhaps allowing the state of a layered group of symbols to be set, would be the best way to go? Then they could become active at the Prototype stage?!

I can't use XD for prototyping without hover effects, this is essential! Please add this really basic feature as soon as possible. On the long run there should be everything in formatting and animating which you can do with HTML and CSS.

Agree!!! Please add ASAP. It makes a HUGE difference. Also, this program crashes way too often.

XD Team, you are making a wait a bit long for what seems to be a simple enough feature. Lack of micro interactions and tap or hover is preventing us from demonstrating the full intention of the UI. This has a huge impact of what we do next in the product development cycle.
