Complex object fill colors (set fill on entire group at once)
Option to fill entire imported asset with color on single click selection. Currently double clicking allows parts to be filled, but for a complex icon with multiple parts one has to select and color them individually. See attached example.
Example. When one has imported a series of icons from Illustrator, selecting the the icon should present a color fill option to fill that entire icon with color.

Yes! Recoloring icons would become much easier.

This would be very useful. Having to ungroup to set a color is a hassle. It should work like Illustrator where the top level group color overrides the inner colors.

Would be nice to be able to quick change color of vector graphics, images etc. (not only one shape) with a color overlay. Especially on pasted graphics from e.g. Illustrator.

I would like to have the option to apply a style to all the elements in a group.

The only thing I have mange to do is to mark my icon and when i tried to change the color i just got a square. It couldn't identify the lines of the actual icon.

I would like to be able to bring in my ai icons and change the color of them in XD, it would be so much easier than temporarily changing the color of the icon in illustrator.

Ungrouping is a workaround. However, I can imagine more complex files that may be a pain. This is where linked files or design libraries is going to help.

Hi Peter,
What does your AI content look like? When importing into XD, elements are generally grouped, and you can't apply fills or strokes to groups. Solving your immediate problem may be as simple as ungrouping the content. However, it would be good to dig a bit deeper if you have any thoughts on how you would expect this to work.

Objects containing multiple paths (pasted from AI) don't allow simple color edits. Each object must be selected individually.
