I want to be able to open a UI kit while I work on a design

Currently the UI kits are accessible only from the "Welcome" screen.
However, I'd like to be able to open a new design and open a UI kit (or sample file) at the same time.

    Agreed with all of these!

    On Windows, I cannot see where to add UI Kits to my "Library" at all and that seems like a crucial feature. Even importing a custom UI/UX kit is missing and would be crucial.

    Any insight or plans for that?

    Yeah I was thinking this would be a cool feature to add it as a panel inside of the file your working on. So, you have your file up and working on it, there would be a panel on the right side that you can hide or keep there, where you can just pull certain assets into the file your working on, and possibly even customize whats in there, or make folders/categories to find assets easier. It would essentially be a panel, that you could move, delete, add back in, etc. If theres plans to add that feature for panels however.

    For me, File > Open UI Kit > Apple iOS (et. al.) is min viable. Some of the other suggestions (Libraries > palette) could be higher value.

    A quick fix might be to add a menu item to open the welcome screen at any time. This would allow quick access to this as well as any other features of the welcome screen.
    This would be in the Help menu as it is in the other Adobe Apps.
    A feature that would support UI kits would be a "Libraries" pallete and allowing shared libraries for UI kits etc, where individual elements can be accessed from the pallete

    New From Template in File menu

    I think Adobe XD should add "New From Template" or "New From UI Kit" below "New" in File menu. Sometime i need to copy element from UI Kit to my design but i don't know how to open UI Kit same time with my design.

    Need the ability to see the welcome screen again. If i have any open files but want to open the sample or a ui kit, i have to close all the files to be able to see that initial screen.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for letting us know. We've run into this issue ourselves, and we should be working on a fix shortly. In the meantime, if you find yourself using the UI kit frequently, you can save your own copy and access it like a regular file.

    I don't know if it's a new feature or a bug but i want to access the UI Kits while i have a project open.
    I can't find them anywhere except in the start window.
