Paragraph styles
In order to make global typography changes, it would ber very useful to have paragraph styles as part of the feature set. Bonus: export CSS from these paragraphy styles.

I need paragraph styles too!

I agree with everyone! This program is awesome -- but the ability to set and adjust the styles is a MUST and this doesn't have it yet. Hopefully you guys are working on it!

No way this should be closed yet.

THIS FEATURE STILL DOES NOT EXIST. sorry for caps. Super frustrating.
Here is a perfect example of how easily design is broken by this:

I agree that this should not be closed, and I am less likely to use the product without better text support.

Kind of stunned there's no way to handle indents, space before paragraphs (there's space after, though...why implement one and not the other?), and other text formatting that's available in other Adobe products.
I agree it's premature to call "paragraph styles" complete. Text alignment seems to be complete...not paragraph styles. Please keep going with these -- they're super useful.

There's no way to handle text indents, like in nearly every other Adobe application. Why is this still missing in XD? ... update April 2020... still sorely missing

Character styles are great but they're not a substitute for paragraph styles. This is not complete, please unmark it as completed

Brian Barrus commented
Not completed. Bare bones character styles, yes. Paragraph styles: no.

lets learn from InDesign! Please integrate a solution soon. Also, what is going on with superscript? I work in a regulated industry and I just cannot keep updating the Rballs #help

Should call them what the DOM does: map InDesign's print-centric Character and Paragraph Styles to an equivalent Block and Inline Styles here in XD for web.

This feature is not fully completed, since the new Paragraph Spacing value is not yet included in the style.
I know, the Assets panel says "Character Style" so it could be aptly renamed "Text Style" or "Paragraph Style". Or it's time to open up Pandora's Box and start making a difference between Character Styles and Paragraph Styles...

If Adobe can make this work like it does in Illustrator and Indesign, its something that would make me switch from Sketch

Can we please get an updated on this? This would be a huge efficiency boost for most of us if we could define styles and overrides.

I think what we need here is like Illustrtor’s Paragraph Justification,

Wow, over a year later and such basic functionality as this still missing from XD.

It is important to keep the text size clean.
