Creative Cloud Library Support (share symbols/assets across multiple files or team)
This would make it easier to use the assets created in other Adobe applications.
Dear XD Community -
I’m excited to announce that we have shipped a new version of Creative Cloud libraries in XD that allows you to:
1. Add assets from XD to CC Libraries
2. Brings in the full functionality of CC Libraries in other CC Apps such as Photoshop and Illustrator into XD
3. Allows you to consume XD components in other Apps such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
To learn more about the new Creative Cloud Libraries improvements, please check:

and

Please give it a try and share with us your feedback on areas that you would like us to further improve upon.
Thanks,
Sherif

Goodness me guys, it's a work in progress, it's still a Beta. I for one am very happy that I can at least access my CC libraries at last, what a step in the right direction. I don't know why there's such anger being thrown about.

I have no idea how a system of assets, colours, shapes, etc can be designed without any thought for naming, labeling, sorting and organization.
Not being able to see HEX / RBG values of colours (and custom name swatches), or define what objects are is unacceptable and extremely poor design.

Separate floating window? No way to import color palette? Graphics unsupported?
This is an unusually insignificant update. You can do much better. -

Adobe, just buy Sketch, I'm tired of your reallly outdated feature updates

Can you PLEASE add labels to under each symbol. I can't tell what some of my symbols are still :(

It's super important to be able to name the Character Styles and if you're going to preview the style, please show the size accurately. Naming is crucial for CSS etc.

Have you tested this with any designers? Did the majority of them say 'yeah go with the separate window, that would be the most efficient approach'?

As in all other Adobe app, we could have access to the library from de Creative Cloud. To insert color pallete, images and assets.

When creating a new project, I have to open a previous project to get back components I'll reuse in the new project. it would be great to just put a component (or symbol) into the symbols, and be able to use it whenever I want in any project.

Thank you, Elaine, this is great to hear! Any guess as to when the Cloud Library will be integrated into Xd?

I design one page of a website on an individual document. In that document I create that page over several breakpoints.
When I create another page on a new document I want to use the same symbols.
Why does my symbol library have to be localised to the one document? If I had a global symbol library I could change the colour of my blue button across multiple documents.

With the new update to symbols and this feature, I'm happy to use this product going forward. Keep up the great work!

Would this also potentially include object styles and text styles? Furthermore, if this library could be shown not only as the assets in the tool itself but also as a CC web-based design system document? Looking forward to this feature.

Problem:
We currently maintain our master file (extensions or changes from user surveys or customer requests). The brands created up to then are out of date and have to be re-created or re-adjusted.Wish:
More and more, white-label apps or web pages are needed, which often differ only in logos, background images, texts and colors. If there are changes in the master it would be a huge help if this affects all brands. It would be even more convenient to collaborate with the marketing- and the writer-team if images could be linked (automatically update when the source has changed).
Also colors and texts could be stored externally in a format known for each other, so that other employees, who do not have or can master Xd, are able to prepare. -

Working in the same project with teammates is hard to keep the assets updated, so would be great if we could access the assets in real time like colors, fonts size, icons and etc, just like ZeroHeight does on Sketch.

I looked at using XD to mockup a website a few months ago and the library had not been added. I understand it's being developed but when will it be ready to go? I'v setup my library for my other Adobe apps so looking forward to being able to use it in XD.

Is it possible to add interaction to a UI kit elements and when we use that UI Kit it should retain that interaction as in instance. Also when a UI kit is updated by a designer it should automatically update all the all the related xd files to be in sync of same asset libraries.
Interactions could be a slider, progress bar, movement of a form element etc
