Hold spacebar to move shape while drawing it
While drawing a shape, you should be able to hold the spacebar to adjust its position. I use this shortcut all the time in Photoshop and Sketch.

I'm really missing this from photoshop and illustrator, good thing is it would simply be discoverable by people that expect it and it won't clutter the UI at all.

XD is really a failure as it stands right now. What am I supposed to be able to do in the program? Why wouldn't I just used PS or ID? XD is missing fundamental functions that most adobe products have. How about release the product when it's ready? I really want to use XD but every time I open it and try to work on a new project I always run into something that I can't do. DO BETTER PLS.

When you bring up a rectangle or circle to a artboard, it would be helpful to change the position (space key, familiar to photoshop/illustrator) before completed.

I use this all the time in Illustrator. It's something extremely fundamental to frame creation, i feel.
