Zoom Tool
Rather than fixed zoom amounts, a Zoom tool (in the toolbar - z to select it) would be a great addition - allowing marquee style zooming
Hi everyone,
just wanted to let you know, that we have just shipped the zoom tool in the July update of XD.
In addition to zooming with Alt+Mouse Scroll or Pinch-to-zoom on trackpad, you can now access the actual marquee zoom tool in the toolbar via the loupe icon (Z shortcut) or the temporary zoom like in PS and AI via SPACE+CMD, that allows you to do panning and zooming together when navigating the canvas.
Hope you enjoy it.

Hi,
Thanks for your information but I have an issue. This trick is working on simple XD but I did try this on my website admin panel and gets destroyed my many settings and now I have recovered my website but I want to know, why this happened. Anybody can explain this point.
This is my website link (https://skytechenergy.com.au/). -

Im noticing an issue where once I zoom in I can't zoom out. If I hold down command and scroll with my mouse to zoom out the screen goes completely blurry. The only way out of the visual quagmire is to save my work and close the design. And then re-open. But I have to do this each time I zoom in. Needless to say this is wicked annoying.

Micro-feature:
Please add "double-click on Zoom icon brings view to 100%" just like it works in Photoshop and Illustrator.

thanks a lot - with gesture on trackpad (MacBookPro) helps!!!

As far as I know, you can zoom endlessly when designing!!! When you use a track-pad simply spread your fingers (zoom gesture). Or do you mean something else?

It is not possible to work confidentially, because there is no way to zoom exactly to desired areas. Today installed newest update - but this import feature is always missing.

I would like to be able to zoom using only one key instead of two. In Sketch, I hold Z and click to zoom which leaves my right hand on the mouse. My hand from my mouse and using two keys is much slower for me. I zoom in and A LOT when drawing hi-fidelity designs.
Thanks!

Why can't I scroll horizontally in my workspace? Why? How do you design anything at 25%? Move all art boards to the far left? Need a work around so that I can see what I am doing, Thanks!!!

zoom tool to zoom into a specific area would be really necessary!!!

Please note that we already have some methods of zooming in and out, including Option-scrollwheel. I'm merging this with the zoom tool feature request.
