Layout Grid (Columns, Rows, Margins, Gutter)
Have an ability to display a grid/guides mainly for web design use cases.

As you’ve probably noticed, we’ve delivered Layout Grids in the November release of XD. We’d love specific feedback on Layout Grids as we continue to grow, so I’m closing this feature request. If you have specific additional functionality you’d like to see in the Layout Grid feature, please do file it as a new feature request in the Design feature area!

My team is deciding between Sketch and XD. I am trying to persuade them to move to XD as I think it's the better option in the long run. They are resisting due to the lack of grid/ruler functionality. Can you share any rough info on the timeline?

I was ready to start a new project in XD at my agency - to start the process from transitioning my team from sketch. But the fact that there isn't a grid tool paralyzed me. Had to go back to sketch. I am surprised such a basic design tool wasn't the first thing built into this.

Pixel Grid & Rulers are also necessary, and being able to edit their properties

Make adjusting element attributes like font size easier instead of needing to input the numbers manually. A ruler, guides, and grid options available would be great.

I can't use this app until grids are in place, a basic and essential feature of any design app, especially ux design.

Would be nice to create grid based on number of rows + columns like InDesign. Currently, I need 14 squares across and I can't use a decimal value for the grid so it's rounding it one way or another and I have a partial useless square.

Absence of this feature made me buy sketch this week. Making your layout grids own your own is not an option at this point. It's quite hard to work on web resolutions. You'd better to implement this feature as soon as possible.

Chill out Dezideriu, there's a million things they've got to work on. It's coming.
Also, if you think Bootstrap is in any way a competitor to XD, I think you're misunderstanding the tool.
