Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview

Support to import a video or animated GIFs to simulate animations or even playable video.

Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.

To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:

MP4
H.264
AAC audio
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.

Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!

XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.

    Ça fait plus de 2017 qu'on demande cette fonctionnalité. Est-ceq ue vous pouvez faire de quoi rapidement. Sinon notre équipe va passer à Figma ou sketch

    It would be nicer and making or design realisticer then before if we could import gifs as well.

    I'm in disbelief that this is not already a feature? No joke, this was the second thing that I went to look for when I started using XD. From what I've found with XD thus far It's good but without animated elements, it is (in my opinion) essentially an Adobe version of. Keynote. But wait Keynote does Gifs...... This is 'Adobe TextEdit' with a fancy logo.

    Adobe Product team, you must be taking the p155?

    I haven't used XD for a while and I came back to use it thinking that videos would be added by now....nope. Please add this feature!
