I create a website prototype 1440px wide and using the XD App prototype preview, the design show with the right size.
But when I use the share feature and open the online preview, the design show smaller than its original size, 1440px
This happened uploading and viewing from with 3 different Macs, with and without retina display.
Any ideas why?
Apologies for the delayed reply. Thanks for sharing the requested information.
Are you still seeing this issue? If possible, it would be useful to have link to the prototype and original copy of the XD file to help with our investigation.

While XD doesn’t yet have this feature to save gradients in the color picker popup’s swatches, you do have several other options today:
- Store gradients in the Assets panel swatches: open the Assets panel on the left side (View > Assets), and click the “+” next to Colors. Then select any other object and click the gradient swatch to apply it to that object.
- Copy gradient fills between objects: use regular Copy on the source object, then select the destination object and choose Paste Appearance.
I’m leaving this open, but I wanted to let you know that this is working as designed at the moment. We optimize for pixel precision over a potentially jerky resize behavior and skewing of elements to keep things on pixel.
@Elaine But if you optimize for pixel precision over a potentially jerky resize, then it should not be like it is now, it should lock on the pixel grid.
I also uploaded the video to make it easier to check: https://cl.ly/2a44e234fb2cDanilo Oliveira shared this idea ·
Got it. Currently, that’s expected behavior, as double clicking and adding points converts it from a rectangle (which will maintain the corner radius) to a path, which has a different set of rules for resizing (for things like icons). I think what you want is this behavior: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12962355. If this looks good, I’ll go ahead and merge this story with that one.

We’ve just started working on this feature. It’s coming soon!
This is a basic feature that should be in the app by default, in my opinion.

This is a must have feature when designing icons. Would be so good to not have to bonce between Illustrator and XD for simple things.
