    Hi All -

Can you please detail out what’s your current workflow today in XD that lands you into that situation?

In other words, are the documents that you’re pasting into linked to the source document? are they “Saved As” versions of the source documents.

This extra info will help us identify what the issue is.

    Thanks,
    Sherif

Yes, this is so annoying! Often am stealing pages from other documents / flows, and have to re-set all component states / copy / etc...huuuuge time suck.

yeah, this is a giant timesuck for us as well. we've completely stopped using hover states because of how frequently we'd forget to click into the hover to edit text on a button, for example. gets really confusing when those accidents make it out the door during a usability test or something.

in my opinion, text should follow the same rules as everything else on a component state...if you have states, the link between the default state should only be broken when it is specifically changed on a non-default state.

so...if i change text within the default state, it should populate all other states, unless i've manually changed it inside a child state.

    Hi,

The feature that allows you to control the position of stroke: inside/center/outside was started and it will be available in the future versions of Adobe XD. Will let you know once the feature becomes available.

    Cheers,
    M.

Several of the items originally mentioned here are covered by other feature requests already:

The only suggestion I think we don’t have listed yet is arrow-head line endings. To keep the request list tidy, I will change the title here so it is specifically focused on that one idea. Please upvote the other links above so your interest in those features is captured too.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    This would be awesome!

It'd also be dope if all the modes were turned *on* by default, and then I'd have to specify when I want something excluded or wanted to only export a certain mode. "Share for..." concepts don't 100% track with our process, I think about things more in "modes" than in end contexts. For me it's basically dev specs on or off.

Yes! I may be misunderstanding how to use it, but this has been a major headache for us, as I know the power of padding and responsive resize, but just can't really use it in practice on anything but buttons.

My specific case example is a form input — they flex in size, but never based on the content. The content *always* has padding around it, but should respect a max-width, and only expand in the directions I want it to...sometimes down, sometimes not at all. Solving this would be *incredible*.

It'd be *amazing* if it worked like GDrive or Dropbox where there was literally a folder attached on my computer that is connected to the cloud. You could then ideally select whether to sync to the computer or not.
