Yes, it makes sense! Once we import SVG, we essentially treat it like any other object. It sounds like you want to ensure that your SVGs retain some “image” properties and be able to swap them the way you can already swap images. I’ll keep this one as open for now! Thanks for getting back to us. :)

Been doing a lot of work with large, pre-made SVG icon sets for web. Each needs to have a bounding box for maintaining alignment and perceived image sizes (e.g. all artboards have 24px by 24px bounding box, but each icon may be 18px / 22px / 24px max within that). I just realized that any icons I import all get their very precious bounding box removed with I import them.

This would make the way I work in Adobe XD way faster than individually changing character styles.

Hey Adobe XD team! I was doing prototyping today in XD and really could have used this, anything to get me out of having to switch between Illustrator and XD to perform simple actions.

That or allow me to add gradients to strokes, that's mostly what I need it for?

Just use the Skyfonts app to sync Google Fonts to your computer.

I disagree with this, I have never run up against having to worry about canvas size after working on many large, complex responsive web UI designs. Maybe being able to set a custom canvas size at the cost of performance would be nice in an edge case.

As a responsive website UX Designer this would be extremely helpful as a communication tool for me. My .xd project files often consist of 100's of artboards for the entire site. Sharing 4 or 5 of those artboards when I'm working on a particular enhancement would help greatly. I do not like having to rely on using the prototyping tools to achieve this (as I'll just want to review quickly with a team member first).

This is a no-brainer, but definitely would favor other key features over this.

This would definitely go with my Dark Theme Everything philosophy...

Any update on this? This is really important even though there are workarounds to get inner-shadows looking like they exist (Randy's suggestion below, or using gradients). At our web shop my developers have completely removed inner-shadows from form elements because they can't get instructions from Adobe Xd files / Zeplin inspects. It's something I didn't even realize was happening until I looked back on the year we started using Adobe Xd

Tried making some form fields and realized I can't mimic the default HTML for one in Xd. Would love this feature added to the Shadow function.
