Another update pushed that broke several BASIC operations.
It's now impossible to select a single artboard, then OPTION + DRAG it to duplicate. Sweet. Just a basic thing from a program where DUPLICATING and MOVING artboards is essential to the entire prototyping process.
Before that, we couldn't select multiple elements and retain their links.

I can confirm that following the steps with 1 artboard that has 1 object (in this case a rectangle) results in a duplicate being created. I’m using a trackpad on both systems – how about you?
I am not able to create or update my project online. It processes 50% and then crashes the application. This has happened a couple of times and is a little annoying as in urgent situations I am not able to publish prototypes. Published prototype pages sometimes take a long time to load, making the experience not good enough to show clients. I’d like to ask you share a few more details to help determine what’s happening.
- XD verison
- OS version
- Connection type (home, work, DSL, cable, etc)
- Browsers used
- Link to published protoypes
XD (great program, thank you!) eats a huge amount of system resources when my Windows laptop is locked. I know this because my computer becomes an airplane (the fan becomes so loud it sounds like a jet engine) when my computer is locked, but only when I have XD files open. I think it is trying to keep the file in memory, but whatever it is, it needs to get better. I had 7 or 8 XD files open just now, locked my computer to go to the bathroom, and when I came back the computer was once again a jet engine and would not respond at all. I had to hard reset my computer to get it to work again.

2. Open one or more XD files and lock your computer. It seems to be louder when more files/larger files are open (big surprise) and I bet a desktop will behave differently than a laptop. I have a windows laptop.

4. Computer fan blares loudly and spews out a lot of heat.

Most of my XD files are between .5 MB and 12 MB. My largest XD files is 45 MB.

I have over 200 art boards in Adobe XD,
but when I publish the prototype and look at the link online it only shows 50 art boards instead of 200 art boards3 votes
It’s possible you have some artboards wired for interaction. In this case, the workflow is published and the artboards not wired will not appear in the prototype. To publish all artboards in a project, the interaction wires should be removed.
If you’re seeing something that described above, comment further so we can look into it.
When i publish a prototype, and send the link to my various colleges, the quality of the prototype is not the best. Majority of it blurry. Especially text. I am running version 184.108.40.206 votes
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Do you happen to be on Windows system browsing prototypes in Chrome? I’ve been noticing this seems to be the combo where folks are seeing the most problems with quality in prototypes.
If you happen to be on Chrome, did you try loading in different browser (Firefox, Edge, etc)? Does it still look bad there as well? There’s an option in the Display Settings for scale that sometimes recommends a larger number than 100% (based on your display). If it’s scaled to a larger size it can sometimes result in prototype images rendering poorly. The team is actively looking at improving on that.
Let me know if any of the above scenarios apply to you and if you’ve found the workarounds help or if there’s something else going on.
On exporting a prototype the progress freezes at 50%. It does nothing for ages and Im forced to quit and still cant produce a prototype. Ive tried with various files, all the same.

I did a scrolling web page and shared a prototype link with 2 more people. One of them gets to open the link properly, the other can't get to scroll the page and can only see half the page, just the viewport height3 votes
@Esersic did you get a chance to check is scrolling is enabled in your file? In Design mode, select artboard & look for dropdown menu for ‘Scrolling’ in Property Insepctor.

Can you share with us the modified SVG file that crashes when you resize it? Did this happen just once, or does it happen any time you try resizing this asset?
Also, let us know what OS you are on and we can give you instructions for gathering a crash log which will help us further to diagnose the problem.
XD crashes everytime I open the CC library panel. The cloud icon animates and then the app crashes.
This is on a Win10 PC using XD v0.8.22. I've uninstalled XD removing all app settings and reinstalling. I only have XD open, no other Adobe app is running.3 votes
Can you provide more details for the problems you’re seeing?
This particular bug report is pretty stale so I want to make sure we’re looking at the right scenario to help determine what’s going on.
When I export all my artboards to a single pdf the order of the boards gets mixed up. I'm using a windows os by the way.3 votes
Mihnea asked a couple of questions recently in a comment that you might have missed. We’d love to get your feedback!
1. Version 0.6.12.17 (macOS Sierra 10.12.3)
2. Whilst a .xd file is open File > Save as or File > Save. Or File > Open Recent
3. Any file created new or opened up previously should save
4. Does not save nor cannot open recent file (see attached)
5. See images attached showing both issues.
Bonus. My username contains no complex characters
FYI. Save rebooting, I'm about to lose 2 days worth of work so any solution on how to save my work would be helpful
Apologies for the delayed reply. Are you still encountering this problem? If so, it may be a problem with the Creative Cloud login. You can exit XD, log out and back in and reboot your system for good measure. I’ve downloaded the resources but not clear which XD file you’re looking at.
There’s a design template called “UIElements+DesignTemplates+Guides-iPad.xd” with element but not an artboard that specifically correlates to the iPad design size. There’s also production templates that don’t seem to have what you’re seeing. Can you share the exact name of the file?
Unable to use the link on the web browser link. It shows the highlighted link but doesn't allow the user to click on the link for some reason. This is creating a serious issue as some of my clients are not able to use the prototype.
NOTE: This happens on certain occasions only and on certain devices.2 votes
Just updated XD today (22.214.171.124) , now all prototypes (on Safari and Chrome) are showing a tiny thumbails.....is this ever going to work properly? This is the 4th issue in 1 week. crazy. Prototypes are so unreliable, it's impossible to share with clients....2 votes
Thanks for sharing additional files and details over email!
After some investigation determine the artboard width was custom so it was causing full screen to default to showing all contents of artboard despite viewport/scrolling settings.
However, when setting artboard size to default web 1920, setting viewport to 1080 + enabling scrolling and sharing as fullscreen, there still appears some blank space which is not the content at bottom (I would expect content to fill the browser window).
I have filed a bug for the team to review.

Prototypes are sometimes squished horizontally, blurry, or only show half the layout! It happens randomly, has nothing to do with monitors or browsers...done lots of testing in the office on different machines.
I have to send layouts to client today! Will have to send JPGs instead, very disappointed with the application.
My XD version is up-to-date XD CC, using a MAC.

Thanks for sharing your links. I’m I’ve opened both in Safari 10 + FF63 and they seem to be working well for me. How are you viewing the prototypes? Which links are not working as you expect?
Trying to create auto animate between two artboards. When I need to put the items outside the artboard, it goes into the pasteboard.
There is a workaround to put them in the group so a part of it stays in the artboard. But it's still not good enough.2 votes
Hey guys, although I really love the new Responsive Size feature, I consider that it's very annoying to have this functionality activated by default.
In the 90% of the cases when I drop new icons from Illustrator or when I create new forms in XD itself, I have to unselect the option of "Responsive Size" because it blows up my form while resizing.2 votes
Thanks for your report. Sorry you’re hitting this known issue. We’re working to fix it, but in the meantime, you have found the workaround (turn off responsive resize for the imported vector graphic).

With the latest October release, you have given plugin support. I tried few plugins but few are not working.
Particularly, Experience Generator is not working. It is showing a pop-up but not showing any result. What is that I am missing here or is the plugin not completely ready.
