  1. [Win10] Application stops responding (keyboard)

    Version 9.1.12.3
    Creative Cloud Sync 3.0.3.6
    Windows 10 PRO · Version 1709
    Lenovo X1 Carbon i7-6500 · 8 GB

    Xd succesfully launch, but after a while (randomly between 10" ~ 5') the keyboard stops working. Not writing in text fields, not editing any UI field, not shortcuts. I have to close the program and launch it again.

    Please, fix this problem because further than annoying, it makes really difficult to continue working with this fantastic app.

    Greetings Everyone!

    The issue fix was identified as an OS side problem. We’ve worked tirelessly with Microsoft and they’ve got a fix coming very soon. Once that’s available, I’ll update post with details on how to get it.

  2. XD to AE export not working

    Windows 10 user, latest builds of Xd (14.0.42.14) and Ae (16.0.1 (build 48)) installed, when attempting to export assets from Xd to Ae, it does not work. Workflow is: 1) select assets from within Xd 2) select Export/After Effect from Xd menu, 3) nothing happens. Interesting, but after one attempt at exporting, any subsequent attempts show the export to AE option grayed out. I have tried with AE open and closed with the same result.

    @Adrien: Can you check the following and let me know if this helps?

    - Check if you have a file named AEXD.aex under PROGRAMFILES\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\Public

    - If the plugin is missing you could try reinstalling Adobe XD, though I’d be very interested on any particularities of the initial setup that led to this situation.

  3. Can not copy element/arboard to paste as image in Jira Confluence

    When I copy elements on XD and paste in Jira Confluence, the pasted is a long long code paragraph, not an image.

    Even when I paste an artboard to Jira Confluence, the page crashed.
    But it works on Messenger.

    Could you please fix this bug.

  4. getSharedResourcesFilePath(): Could not load component: Code: 52

    Due to a OS Crash I had to reinstall Adobe XD. Now, when attempting to load a cloud-saved file, it fails to do so, and the following error message is displayed as a popup:

    getSharedResourcesFilePath(): Could not load component: Code: 52

    Upon clicking the "OK" button, a new file is open and automatically saved to the cloud as "Untitled".

    Version of Creative Cloud Sync: 4.1.0.29
    Windows 10 Pro Version 1703 8GB RAM

  5. Color issues

    Hexcodes appear very different between art boards. Looks like it gets an opacity change without it actually being changed. The opacity slider says its 100% but the color obviously isn't showing opaque.

    Colors suddenly changes opacity from 100% and when its closed and then opened the opacity has changed.


    The checkbox next to the color square in the front UI is sometimes totally black and sometimes its not possible to click in the box to turn a border color or fill color on, this has been an ongoing issues since day one with XD.

    Also, the color picker keeps disappearing.…

  6. Keyboard shortcuts stops working after 5-10 minutes of working in a file (Adobe XD 17 update)

    After working on a file for some time all keyboard shortcuts stops working. Right click abilities do work. When saving the document (both cloud and locally) the shortcuts work briefly, then the program spikes and shortcuts are not working again.

    Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with keyboard shortcuts. I think what you’re seeing is a known issue :(

    We’ve been hard at work with Microsoft and are close to a fix! Alas, not quite there yet though. There’s a few things others have shared that help with this:
    - Press Windows key and click back into XD
    - Change focus away and back from XD
    - Restart XD

  7. Can't use Hand tool with Wacom (pan)

    Pressing the Space Bar while using Wacom doesn't shift to the Hand tool so I may pan the document as in using the mouse (on all of adobe software).

  8. Exporting SVG is not accurate

    Importing into Illustrator brings some issues concerning the correct color assignation for some elements. Everything else seems to be at the correct place.
    In internet browsers the svg file looks alright but my colleagues have issues importing the files into their development environment, same as I do in illustrator.
    Please fix!

    Hi,

    There is no error with the exported SVG – it is perfectly valid. When i imported back in XD it looks fine as well. The browsers are not performing any error correction for the SVG as you mention below.

  9. Repeat grid is now including shadow in the spacing value

    When an element has a shadow and a repeat grid is applied the spacing option now includes the shadow width or height as part of that padding.

  10. XD 14.0.42.14 - again problem with polish special letters - this time with "ć" and "ł"

    1. Adobe XD 14.0.42.14
    2. Again after the newest (December 2018) update, there is a problem with 2 polish special letter during typing into text frame: "ć" (AltGr + "c") and "ł" (AltGr + "l".
    3. Expecting to write "ć" and "ł"
    4. Nothing happens after trying to type those letters.

  11. Responsive Size always active.

    Hey guys, although I really love the new Responsive Size feature, I consider that it's very annoying to have this functionality activated by default.

    In the 90% of the cases when I drop new icons from Illustrator or when I create new forms in XD itself, I have to unselect the option of "Responsive Size" because it blows up my form while resizing.

  13. Cannot open .xd files located in Box Drive

    1. Adobe XD CC Starter 16.0.2.8 on Windows 10 Professional 1803 / 1809
    2. Repro step- Double-click an XD file located in the Box Drive folder.
    3. We expect to be able to open XD files from synced drives in the same way that they work from the local filesystem.
    4. The XD application opens and users are presented with 'There was an error opening the file (Error code: 165) ' . Launching XD manually and then attempting to open the file from within the application doesn't work either, there is no error but the file is not opened and…

    Do you see this problem when working with local files? Doesn’t seem like it but wanted to confirm.

    The best way to have files synced to cloud, is by using XD Cloud file saving, https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/manage-work-cloud-documents.html

    To help investigate what might be happening, can you do the following:
    - Run Creative Cloud log collector tool
    - Post resulting logs in cloud drive (WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc) and share link with me xduv@adobe.com, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html

  14. Dragging elements off artboard become hidden (intermittently)

    Weird issue I noticed happening the other day, and again just now. Some elements stay linked to the artboard they previously occupied even after I've dragged them off. I don't always notice this has happened, until I select an artboard and notice elements surrounding it suddenly appear, then disappear when the artboard is deselected.

    Hello – If you could provide the details previously requested, we can dig into what might be going on.

    The issue as reported sounds like a graphic card driver problem. Have seen it in past versions and verifying the video card features meet XD systems requirements + updating the driver resolve. Can you give that a go?

  16. Long Press for menu not working

    I just upgraded XD V13 on iOS and the long press for menus no longer works. Long press brings up a dialogue "No Microphone Access....." How can I access the menu now?

  17. Unable to Publish when on VPN

    Trying to publish when on my office vpn results in "This service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." Publishing when not on a vpn works just fine. This is a major roadblock for remote workers required to operate via vpn.

    There have been a few other bugs like this opened. Adobe's response always seems to be 'working as designed' with not much explanation. The closest we've come is https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353010-adobe-xd-bugs/suggestions/33072070-cannot-publish-prototype-service-is-temporarily-u @Nina-Ramos suggested it's the company's vpn blocking access. After working with our IT department and following Nina's suggestion, we've confirmed that the following are not blocked:

    Configure Charles
    1. Launch the Charles app
    2. Enable SSL Proxying for the endpoints used by XD
    3. Go to Proxy → SSL Proxying Settings…
    4. Click the “Add” button
    5. Add the following hosts (leaving other fields blank):

  18. Xs App not working after desktop update

    After I have updated Adobe XD on my desktop, the mobile app is Now not working. I can’t open the app and can not see my app prototype. The app shows a pop-up for updateing when I try to enter, because it is not working together the 2 versions.

  19. Layers shifting between Mac/Windows

    I'm working on a Mac (10.14.3) - My colleague is opening the same file on Windows (10.0.17134) We both have Xd version 17.0.12.11.

    Bug: When a file is opened on Mac, saved then closed, then re-opened on Windows, some elements shift position (upwards) between the two systems.

    If the file is amended on Windows, saved, then opened on Mac, the changes are applied as 'over-corrected'.

    Eg: My file (Mac) has a 20px button with text vertically centred. When a colleague (Windows) opens the file the text has shifted upwards (the shift seems to be a random value) - if they…

  20. USB preview doesn't update after previewing a cloud doc

    After previewing a version of our layout that has been saved to cloud, the mobile app no longer previews documents via USB tether.

    Regardless of whether we choose live USB preview, or preview of a cloud doc, it only previews the last cloud doc viewed.
