Bug details

The same font is positioned differently on Mac and Windows

I (Mac) work with a colleague (Win) on the same xd document. Although we have both installed the same font, there are sometimes different text representations. For a better understanding you should have a look at the attached picture.

We both uses the same XD-Version 13.0.12.14.

This is definitely a bug! I wish I have a chance to help solve this as I'm a software engineer.

This bug was always present in Adobe Flash and unfortunately it's present in XD.
Since my team have both PC's and Mac OS this is driving us mad for more than ten years (as I said, before in Flash now in XD).
We are always manually correcting this. Countless hours wen't on adjusting this.
The workaround using point text is not an option!

Can this be somehow fixed please?

I did some testing yesterday. I noticed that the vertical shift only occurs when area text is used. If I use point text for the number, the error does not occur. I don't understand exactly why this is the case yet, but now I would say, it's not a bug and I have a solution for my problem.

So, thanks for your fast support.
