png w/alpha - fill colour change kills png

V 0.6.12.17 Beta - on OSX 10.10.5

Importing a .png (with alpha) into XD - if you change or reset the 'fill color' - it obliterates the .png completely. In Sketch (for example), changing the fill colour of a .png will affect only the non-transparent pixles in the object.

I just found this stupid issue - even Fireworks was capable of this - and going back to Sketch (for the nth time).

Listen guys, I really want to use XD but since 3 months the only updates coming out are relative to windows. How many developers are working on XD considering that you cannot even work on both platforms at the same time?

I frequently want to change the fill color of a transparent PNG. This would be very nice to have. Otherwise I need to take each of those PNGs and convert them to vector - waste of time for UX when not in design mode.
