xd hangs during save .mov file1 vote
This happens on macOS 10.11 when the Save dialog box is in “icons” mode. To avoid the freeze, do the following before recording:
1. Choose ‘File > Save As’ on any document in XD (or Save, in a new untitled document)
2. Switch from icons view to list view or columns view (i.e., select anything except the first option in this row of icons: http://imgur.com/noZkpRk)
3. Close the dialog box (Cancel works fine)
When you next go to save a recording in the Preview window, the Save box there will use the same default. As long as it’s not using the icons view, you should not experience any freezing.
For my Polish keyboard setup Alt+S shortcut is default for special 'ś' character.
In Adobe XD this shortcut doesn't work.
I remember that some time ago similar problem occured in Photoshop, where Alt + S combination was used for some function as application default. Needed to change it manually to something else.
In XD there is no access to Preferences on Windows version, so I can't do that.2 votes
Thanks for staying on this with us. I have been able to reproduce the behavior with the Polish keyboard and the s key, but only in the text editor. Text entry in the properties panel appears to work correctly (Right alt + s inserts a character).
Let me know if you notice issues outside of the text editor,
ver. 0.6.23.37 and 0.6.24.10 (not on ver. 0.6.20.7)
1. create a file (choose "iPhone 6/7")
2. choose file > save as ...
3. input for the name "デザインガイド"(it means design guidelines in Japanese) , and save to desktop(/Users/username/Desktop/)
success to save the file
I got error code 49 and could not save it. I tried to save to other folders. I could not save it, either.
my other try:
In case of the name "デザイン", it is success to save a file.
In case of the name "ガイド", it is success to save a file.3 votes
We’re sorry you’re having trouble with XD, but appreciate you taking the time to let us know what isn’t working. I believe that I have isolated a bug and have passed it along to the team. While we are looking into this, it would also be helpful if you could send us what the username is for the machine (or, if you’d prefer, just whether or not it contains non-ascii characters).
Thanks for your help in tracking this down, we will keep you posted as this works its way through our process.
I am not able to share my prototype and there is an error I keep getting i.e. "There was a problem uploading your design (error 44)." not sure what is the reason.20 votes
We’re currently investigating the occurrences of error 44. If you encounter this error we would really appreciate it if you could post a comment with your OS (Mac or Windows) the version of XD you are using, and the type of internet connection that you have.
This error may occur if you have a slow network/internet connection, or if you get disconnected while sharing.
Some users have reported that restarting XD, or logging out of the Creative Cloud app, and then logging back in will fix the issue.
When I open the prototype in my mobile from the adobe XD app via Creative cloud, spacing is lost in between words and sometimes letters are missing.
For example in the attached file:
- cost is missing the T
- Space missing in phoodster-find
- Space missing in enable-location1 vote
Thank you for sending your file. I was able to reproduce this and have logged a bug for our developers.
At the moment if you mask some layers or a group of layers (Mask with shape) you are not able to reorder them. They become locked, not it terms of repositioning them but your are not able to reorder them on the layer level. Right click and "Bring to front" etc. works though.2 votes
I’ve filed the bug internally – thanks for the report!
Then select zoom tool
Try to zoom in any object or dartboard
It produces zoom out only , but it showing zoom in icon when I'm zoom1 vote
Thanks for reporting this! We’re able to reproduce the problem on our end and will investigate a fix. I’ve updated the title to cover the full breadth of the issue.
This problem happens because Alt-Space opens the OS’s window menu (in the upper-left corner), and XD gets confused and thinks the Alt key is still pressed afterwards. If this happens, just tap the Alt key to “unstick” it. It will also fix itself automatically if you switch to another app and then come back to XD.
If you want to zoom out via the Alt & Spacebar shortcut, you can avoid this issue by pressing the keys in the opposite order: hold down Spacebar first and then hold down Alt. That avoids popping open the OS menu.
When pasting from AI CC 2017 into XD 0.6.27
the position and line spacing of text blocks gets messed up.1 vote
Thanks for the file!
It looks like we have some issues when dealing with copy-paste from Illustrator when there are non-integer values in the text styles. Your file has a couple of these in font size and line spacing. We’ll work to fix the issue on our side, but as a short-term fix, you can change these values to integers and you should be able to get up and running.
There is a bug when displaying area text on mobile devices. Seems like the baseline shifts down on the mobile preview, causing the text to not fit in its area. This results in the text displaying lower than it should, and cut short. Point text seems to work fine.2 votes
We were able to reproduce this on our side and have filed the bug. We’ll let you know when the fix makes it into a public release!
With the latest version 0.6.20.7 Beta
On iMac 5K El Capitan 10.11.6
Dock system preferences: "Double Click on a window Title bar" set to "zoom"
This does not work in XD, double clicking on title bar does nothing. I believe this worked fine up until this build.
We have a bug tracking this issue already. We’ll let you know when it’s fixed!
When making a new repeat grid with element that has shadow (like a box with content in it and shadow), repeat grid masks out shadow of that element. See image attached for example.8 votes
Open Google Material UI Kit from within Adobe XD. Zoom to "Typography" artboard. Look at the last text item on the left side. Item reads "BUTTO" but on further inspection is actually "BUTTON". Correct text is "BUTTON"1 vote

I'm having trouble with the full flow when viewing the prototype shared online.5 votes
We have discovered that this situation can occur when the home artboard is deleted from the design file, and no replacement is selected. This can be fixed by switching to Prototype mode, selecting an artboard and cicking the grey tab at the top left of an artboard.
We realize this is a deficiency in the prototyping workflow. Two options we’re considering for fixing are:
1. Showing an error when trying to share if there are interactions but no home artboard
2. If/when the home artboard is deleted, automatically setting the first top-left artboard with interactions as the home artboard.
Let us know if you have a preference between these two options.
I'm having problems double-clicking while editing fonts larger than 180px.

Thank you for sending this in. I have filed a bug for the issue and the team will take a look.
V 0.6.12.17 Beta - on OSX 10.10.5
Importing a .png (with alpha) into XD - if you change or reset the 'fill color' - it obliterates the .png completely. In Sketch (for example), changing the fill colour of a .png will affect only the non-transparent pixles in the object.6 votes
Double click on text object in Prototype mode, then switch mode to Design.
Mode expected to switch to Design, but it still Prototype, despite of tab "Design" appears selected.1 vote
I have noticed when sharing a prototype online, the artboard designs are slightly blurred compared to crisp designs I've made inside the Xd software. The colours are also slightly darker on the web than it is in the Xd.
Please do email me for screenshots if needed, as I am unable to share my work publicly.

Version: 0.6.16.7 Beta Windows.
Place text on artboard adjust size to 190.
Double click inside textfield
Should allow you to edit text inside textfield.
Textfield doesn't go in text edit mode
Requires multiple (double) clicks around the text box to finally work.
Once it does highlight all the text, I am not able to see the highlighted text because it's white on white.1 vote
Thanks for getting in touch. There is a known issue where the editor has a maximum supported font size of around 174, which will cause the text to shrink slightly and may cause issues when trying to double click on text with a larger font size. We are working on a fix, but in the mean time, you may have a more reliable editing experience either by using the “enter” shortcut to open the editor, or by using a smaller font size.
I don’t think I have seen the white on white issue you are describing, so if you could include a screenshot, as well as noting the text content and style that you used, that would be helpful in tracking that piece down.
I didn`t find a way to pan at all so far. I am using a hp spectre with windows 10 and I tried to use the space bar as well as the touchpad.
It did not work out for me2 votes
Question for you: can you use the hand when you hold down the space bar? Just tapping the space bar will not launch the hand tool.
