  1. Resize causes random alignment mismatch and unpredictable size

    I was trying to follow the 1 day of adobe XD progressive challenge, but could not keep with the pace due to the bugs. You guys need to just follow your own tutorials by a few folks at your workplace to discover many of them.

    • 55:47:-1 - open prototype when updating

      I was trying to update a prototype, but one of my clients had the prototype open at the time so i was getting a 55:47:-1 error. After asking he close it, i was then able to update the project.
      This is quite a bad blocker in the prototype view in my opinion! if they happened to just leave it open and go on a business trip, then i would need to create a new link and would loose all communication and updates from the project. Especially if it was a big team i was working with.

      • Artboard Overlay - Position mapping error while scrolled in viewport

        1. Version 16.0.2.8 CC Sync 4.2.0.25

        - Create artboard where elements will be placed like buttons / header
        - Create artboard where you have the items you want to let overlay on artboard
        - Create overlay
        - Preview > Now in initial screen the overlay works fine
        - Scroll in preview so the design will move according the height of viewport
        - Again click on your overlay item
        - Now you will notice that the Overlay maps accoring the x & y position of new viewport and not attached to initial location

        • Recent Documents only showing up after second start of XD

          Adobe XD: latest release as of the 4th March 2019
          OS: Win 10 64bit

          When booting up the PC and starting XD for the first time after powering on the PC, XD won't show any Recent Documents, just the loading circle. When I quit XD and reopen it, the Recent Documents appear within moments.
          The same thing happens, every time I reboot my PC.

          This issue appeared after the last update. Before that, the Recent documents took a long time to load and show up, as well as the document cloud in general in XD in that version. I talked…

            Really appreciate you sharing your feedback!
            The behavior you’re seeing indicates to me Adobe Sync (service required to view Cloud document list) isn’t getting initiated on that first system boot. What I think is, it’s more likely that AS is slow to get going, thus “working” on second XD open.

            • all artboards are not upload on cloud server

              Version 16.0.2.8 (Starter), Creative Cloud Sync 4.2.0.25

              Before the upgrade my artboards file are upgraded 36 to 38 its working perfect but after upgrade my artboards are more then 38 i have designs all designs are link to each other but when i upload to creative cloud server its only shown 38.

                • "Sorry, we can't open this document" on Cloud Document

                  - Adobe XD (Feb 2019 update)
                  - Creative Cloud 4.8.0.421
                  - Creative Cloud Sync 4.1.0.29
                  - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, build 17134)

                  Let me explain the issue here
                  I was using XD and was working on a cloud document
                  Then my laptop shutdown abruptly
                  Ever since I restarted the laptop and I tried to access the particular cloud document I was working on, it gives this error "Sorry, we can't open this document". Meanwhile, it shows as part of my Cloud Documents.

                  The blue marker in the image is pointing at the document I have an issue with

                  • OSX mac sierra 10.13.6 and windows 10 OS 17763.253 not able to open xd file due to an update message

                    Getting the message: This was created with a newer version of Adobe XD. Please update Adobe XD to open it.

                    I got adobe xd version 15.0.12.8 on mac and pc, I saved the file yesterday 07.02.2019. But when I try to open the file today I get the update message.

                    So now my adobe xd file is in limbo, I am not able to open it either from mac or pc.

                    MAC osx High Sierra version 10.13.6
                    PC: Windows 10 version 1809 build 17763.253

                    I have also tried to restart my mac and pc, but it did not help.

                        • [Windows] Adobe XD ignores Handwriting input settings on Windows 10 1809

                          There's an issue with Adobe XD on Windows 10 1809 that it ignores settings which disables handwriting input panel if system has Windows Ink enabled. Briefly said Adobe XD turns unusable with Windows Ink while using Wacom tablet.

                          I've been trying to analyze and fix these issues myself to no avail - Touch and Handwriting service set to disabled and not running, computer policy (gpedit.msc) set to disable input panel + handwriting panel set to docked mode. Result is that Adobe XD shows handwriting input panel even this feature is disabled in the system and ignores windows settings.

                            • After cloud documents XD takes forever to launch/start

                              Hi, since last update where adobe introduced save to cloud when I start XD the window is blank for a very long time. Everything is slow, laggy, and the save button freezes randomly, even when document is saved on the computer and not cloud. The new update has made working on XD very frustrating.

                              • XD to AE! Can not export After Effect files. then again

                                Steps to reproduce the issues: files > export > After Effect
                                Expected result: export AE file successfully
                                Actual result: display "There was a problem exporting your asset."

                                "Let me know if updating drivers helps. Also, now that we have Cloud documents, would be good to try saving file locally first and then exporting to AE to take that out of the equation."

                                    @Christopher: Are you seeing the dialog “Sorry we can’t open this document”? If so, the fix is forthcoming.

                                    One recent suggestion was to check that AdobeID for login should be same on web browser + Creative Cloud desktop/XD on each system (ie, System 1 = User1 for web & XD, System 2 = User 2 for web & XD). I’ll update post with any further findings or requests.

                                        Due to a OS Crash I had to reinstall Adobe XD. Now, when attempting to load a cloud-saved file, it fails to do so, and the following error message is displayed as a popup:

                                        Upon clicking the "OK" button, a new file is open and automatically saved to the cloud as "Untitled".
