URGENT: XD does not open files and just closes
After I updated XD to the latest version as of 19 Aug 2019; the program just keeps crashing and closing.

We highly regret the inconvenience.
But on a positive note, we are aware of this issue and working on fix very actively.
Fix would be available soon with upcoming releases.
Meanwhile as a workaround, you can try reboot of machine and then launch XD. It should resolve the crash.
I have this issue also, always requires a reboot after updating the app.
