Master components doesn't update components inside it
I have master component (1) with another non-master component (2) inside it.
Than I change master component of component 2. But the changes is not update component 1.
Can you please provide more details or steps? I tried reproducing the problem you reported, but when I edit the master component for the nested component (component 2, which you mention), it updates as expected in the parent component (component 1).
I have exactly the same problem as Denis. I am working on the Design System and created a single file (Master) in which I have all my components. For example, I copy a button component with a nested component (let's call it instance) to another external file (Prototype) and when I want to change the color of an instance (in Master) nothing changes in the external file (Prototype). The situation changes if I ungroup the nested component in Master and then copy it again to Prototype.

It works that way if nested master-component is in another cloud file. And total mess if it contain another linked component.
I noticed it works when you have just 5 components in your document. But, when you have 30 - 50 it becomes a problem with nested components. Have you tried it with a lot of components in one single document and linked components too? :) Hope that helps....
