Pasted components are linked to old version of file
I had a document which has become corrupted, showing the unable to save error whenever it's opened. I copied the contents of that file to a new document, but when I copy and paste a component from the new file to a master file, that component is linked to the outdated component from the corrupted file.
The components in the new file are the master components, with no noticeable links to the corrupted file.
1. Version 126.96.36.199
2a. Create a master document with components linked from another file.
2b. Copy components from corrupted file to new document.
2c. Make changes to components in the new doc, ensuring they are the master components.
2d. Copy those revised components to the master document.
2e. Pasted components are the original components from the corrupted file and are linked to it as well.
3. Pasted components should be from the new document.
4. Pasted components are from the old corrupt file.
5. I can provide a video via a private method if you'd like.
Thanks for your report.
In step 2c, how did you make changes to the components in the new doc to make sure they are master components?

I don't recall exactly. But I believe I saved it as a new cloud document. The components in the new document do indicate that they are the master components
In order to get the components to update, I have to ungroup, then recreate the component. Pasting that recreated component works properly.
