Frequently Freezes when editing text
Most of the time XD freezes when I edit text
I was having this same issue for several releases now. I turned off Spellcheck and now the issue seems to have stopped. Has anyone else tried this?

On windows 10 text editing in XD has had issues since day one.
This bug is still not fixed and needs attention, we have to restart xd several times a day.
in my case XD isn't exactly freezing entirely, you can still pan zoom and move elements, but all text fields including from the XD ui (assets, layers name etc) are unresponsive (type cursor isn't displayed) and text does not respond to typing.

I am also experiencing this issue where the application will freeze when editing text about every 2nd or 3rd action. I'm creating cloud documents that have a lot of shared components. This is making the application unusable. My only workaround is to quit and re-open the application every third or so action which is exponentially increasing the time it takes to get work done. This level of disfunction is beyond frustrating - it is crippling my productivity. Please resolve. I'm open to talk about the issue if you need to deep dive.
I am on a new Mac running OS 10.15.1
I'm having this issue also. Xd freezes frequently with selecting text. It seems to spike the CPU in Windows Task Manager.
I'm working with a reasonably large XD file @ 30mb

Same issue with mine. It's annoying to keep having to restart XD every five minutes. Please fix this.

Same issue. I find it when editing sub-layers in particular. It freezes every 5 minutes, sometimes as soon as I open and start editing. I'm finding this is becoming unusable for me as I'm wasting so much time. The past few days it's honestly been brutal!!
Also, XD randomly crashes and closes the window. It happens when I have one or multiple files open.
All my files are local, saved in the Creative Cloud file folder as I previously had similar issues with cloud files and major lag.

At the latest version at time of writing. Even tried rolling back to 21.0.12 but still happening. Wasn't like this a month or two ago.

- XD version
- OS version
- Do you see issues with specific file? If yes, could you share that file with us?
We would definitely try to fix it if we can see the issue happening at our end.
