Error Code: 49
Trying to save a project (also tried "Save As") and got the following error:
"There was an error saving file agc9f88.tmp
(Error Code: 49)
The file could not be saved. Please try saving again."

I've had the same problem. This latest release has been incredibly unstable for me and my colleagues. I regularly have issues saving, and am consistently having keyboard registration issues again. It's a realy shame - I'd much rather these ongoing stability issues were addressed before any more features are added to the application
I have this problem.
>>XD version 22.214.171.124
>>CC version 126.96.36.1994
>>The error occurs when saving a file except copy or save as file .
I've already reinstalled the XD, CC and Another program. After the first reinstallation, this problem was resolved but it happened again.
I don't want to reinstall it more.
I also get the error 49 when I try to save a file every now and then (XD Version: 188.8.131.52 on Mac OS 10.14.5 – not using cloud documents)
It appears to be related to the add/substract functions because it only happens after using add/substract on an object.
Please fix this issue as soon as possible. It is pretty annoying and time consuming ...
If the changes between the cloud document and the local document are minimal you can revert to the cloud document by deleting your temp files.
Removal of local files if an error 49 persists can be done this way:
1. Quit all adobe processes
2. Click start type 'run' or an equivalent in your os language
3. Enter %temp%
4. Delete all files in the local/temp folder that shows up
5. Click start type 'run' or an equivalent in your os language
6. Enter 'temp'
7. Delete all files in the temp folder that shows up
8. Reboot + relaunch cc and xd
Fixed my problem, reverted the document to cloud status, works fine now.

We have multiple tickets open for Error:49 and trying to fix those on priority.
As of now only I can say, please bear with us till we get a complete resolution.
Renaming file in Finder/Desktop/Cloud drive + re-open seems to have helped in some cases, would request to give it a try.
Log collected as mentioned here:
Let me just add this feedback:
We are working on an iconography file which is used in different projects, this is a shared file with two collaborators. I was the only one working in the document. I've updated it with one icon. I checked the export button, got an error 49.
After multiple attempts of reopening the file after making a local backup i still see the icon i added. But still not marked for export, still not saving any changes and throwing the same error.
I closed the file, asked collaborator to open it. He was able to open it, no added icon there. He drew a rectangle and saved it. I opened it, no rectangle there, just my added icon.
So it seems the shared cloud file has been 'split up' into his version and mine, keeping the same name, showing us both in both files as collaborators.
I've had this problem with him in the past. That's were i lost days of work after i made a shitload of changes, which he unknowingly overwrited with an old version of the file which wasn't updated accordingly, seemed to be split up for a moment and merged again with my version, deleting my changes.
It's safe to say your filesharing system/versioning is still fucked. Please, do investigate.
I can't comprehend why you roll out the 'new and improved' collaboration feature and bugs like this still exist.

Please I need help,
same shit ! lost 1 hour of work !!
Is there any news on this? I have the same problem. This is critical to work! I've tried renaming the file, different internet connection but when I try to save my cloud document with all my components, colors etc. I get Error 49. I have everything updated, tried quiting XD, CC Manager.
Please Adobe consider adding an option to link assets locally also, otherwise it goes against the point of having a single document to speed up your work.
I have not been able to save my work for two days, not in the cloud and not locally. Error message 49. Big problem for me because I have to deliver on friday!

I have the same problem and it breaks actually the components flow.
It doesn't happen with new files, but with files, that have been edited with before.
All the Apps and Sync on the newest version.
- XD 19.2.xxx
- MacOS High Sierra
- Core sync 220.127.116.11
I attached the logs where I had the problems and sent it with the log creator
(I cannot attach the files)

Please give a try to below link and see if this helps.
If it doesn't then please share

- OS version
- Core Sync version (This you can check in Adobe Creative cloud by clicking on 3 dots on right top and go to preferences > Creative cloud Tab > Files tab)
Look forward to hear from you.
