The size of canvas(body) depends on high of browser. The body should be full screen sized but its have only half of real size.
The video linked shows content being resized to fit based on browser window size. This is working as designed.
FWIW, overlays are static and will not move based on scroll position.
Is it possible that what you’re seeing is working as expected but not as you’d like it to?
it's work but randomly change from none to vertical. I need change it page by page to fix it.
But there's still an issue (see my comment below). If you set the scrolling viewport height on only one artboard lower than the artboard height, you'll still have this bug on all of your artboards...
Please test this on your own instead of telling us that there's no problem. Feels like beta software...
This setting of Scrolling:None being set when you choose a custom artboard in XD is not new, and has been the same since the beginning. This setting was not getting respected while viewing in browser earlier and hence you might not have noticed it.
Do you think the default setting in case of Custom artboards should also be set to Vertical?
In what scenarios would you actually want to set the scrolling to None?
There's still an issue.
If you have different artboards (Desktop, Tablet, Smartphone) and you set the scrolling viewport height the same as your artboard height but for the smartphone artboards you set the scrolling viewport height to 667px, then all the other artboards (Desktop, Tablet) will still have this wrong behaviour...
Why don't you inform users when you make such huge changes? Now I've to edit all my prototypes and set a scrolling viewport height. Before November 26th this worked without setting a scrolling viewport height.
I found the problem. As the admin said, the scrolling settings were set to - none. you need to put them in position-vertically. apparently their default state has changed. it is very inconvenient and not obvious and misleading. By default, they must be in position - vertically. it's not at all clear why we need another size?
What? No. This is not correct behavior. My project is 1920 px width and several sizes of height. Before updates to ver 13 everything was ok. i saw full screen sized preview as expected. doesn't matter what size of height. But from last updates the behavior was changed. Now it's depends of height. if height very large browser show all size of height but this is not ok because all sites look very small and not right sized. We can't send this is to our clients and can't work with XD from now.
Do you expected the design to fit width wise at all times, and scroll vertically (artboard height will not be fit into the browser height)?
While creating your artboards, have you set "Scrolling" setting in properties inspector to "None"? If yes, then recommend you to change it to "Vertical". Make sure the viewport value shown is same as your artboard's height.
If you publish again, you will see the desired result in browser.
The reason it was getting fit earlier is because you have set Scrolling to None. We have to respect this setting and fit the entire artboard into the available viewport.
Let me know if this helps?
i use windows 10
chrome Version 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)
i don't now because all stage is broken. the view not work correctly. no full screen. no real size.
When will this be fixed?

This is a HUGE issue... can't share any prototypes anymore with clients. Please fix ASAP.
As a workaround you can set a scrolling viewport height. But then your overlays will not be in correct position...
We work with larges clients and we can't show them the prototypes because it's very small and not original size. Please fix it.
