Missing image when importing from the CC Libraries
Version of Adobe XD: 188.8.131.52 (macbook pro)
In the library, I have a PNG photo inside a circle (see attached image) created in Illustrator. I want to add this element to a prototype in Adobe XD.
Expected result: the image will look exactly like in Illustrator, inside the circle and same measurement.
Actual result: I can only see the circle empty, no image, or the image has been moved and it is not inside the circle.
The team is working on a fix for this issue. Will update post once it’s available.
Hey! here you go the link to the screenshot... it's in Dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/o5z0cbnep6kembl/XD.png?dl=0
About the CC library, no problem to share it... but in private if possible. It's a customer library and I wouldn't spread all the contents out there :-)
By the way... I've created an image example, but I can't find the way to upload it.
Same here... just found this situation. In XD CC libraries window, the image appear (so I assume it's only a pre-rendered thumbnail), but when I drag and drop on the design frame, it disappears. The original library image is placed via "Place...", so the image is linked. Also, I've observed that glyph fonts doesn't render.
Nina- thanks for the reply. The images never show up in the XD workspace, though the thumbnail in the library panel appears correctly. The images began their existence as PSDs (v2015.5) though I doubt the older Photoshop version is the culprit because the linked PSD images display correctly in Illustrator.
What's your take on the other issue I mention above-- the misalignment of tabbed text columns?
XD version 184.108.40.206, Creative Cloud Sync 220.127.116.11, Illustrator version 22.1
In Illustrator, I create a library artwork item which consists of a linked image and text columns left-justified using the tab character. On import into XD, the linked images are gone and the text is mis-aligned.
The thumbnail of the library artwork appears correctly both in Illustrator and XD.
Workaround: Embed the image in Illustrator instead of linking it. Edit the text in XD to re-align
