[Windows] Error code 49 when saving a large XD file (#G15136)
If you’re like any other designer we know, sometimes you have huge files—you know, the ones that use a bajillion stock photos that you’re using for a mosaic in the top 200px of your files. If you’re this designer, you may hit an error code 49 when you attempt to save an XD file. You won’t be able to save the file if it’s too large, but you can try to optimize your file and save again, or export your files to SVG and attempt to import again.
This has been fixed in the May 2017 release of XD.

I found a solution for this today!
Copy the XD file in Explorer with the error code 49 to another location on your computer (I'm on Windows 10, copied to my Desktop). You should be able to edit and save on the new, copied file properly.
The problem occurred on my machine with an XD file that was pulled via PERFORCE. Might have similar issues with other SVN programs.
I appear to have lost all my work now and am getting the error code below:
getFileSizeSync():File argument must be a string
I'm experiencing this issue and my file is only 842 KB.
I am currently having this issue.
I'm currently generating an error code: 49 when trying to save my file. (After losing my work to a code 48).
