[Android] Font not found: Roboto
Using the Android XD app, when I display a prototype that uses Roboto I get a message: Font not Found Roboto Regular/Medium/Bold/etc. and all text uses Roboto Regular.
Thanks for letting me know Alex! I’ve confirmed with the team this fix was released.

same here on samsung tab 3 / Huawei P10. No fonts I work with are available.
Maybe adobe could implement a embed functionality?!
I guess they fixed it. Now it's working on all my testing devices, which previously didn't.
I've tested it on:
- Nexus 9 (Android 7..1.1)
- Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 (Android 7.0)
- Google Pixel 2 XL (Android 8.1)
All Roboto font styles are shown correctly (Thin, Medium Italic, Black etc.), except the Condensed ones.

Perhaps this problem is existing for only a small range of hard ware only.
On Huawei P20 Lite with Android 8 with XD-app version 5.0.0 there is no error message at all. All the fonts are displayed on the android phone exactly. It seems that XD-App now downloads every font to the smartphone preview on demand.
The same problem, Roboto is available in Photoshop but not in XD. This is causing serious problems on my projects.
Same problem! Roboto is available in full in Photoshop but not in XD. What the heck?
This bug still annoys me every time I do an android project. How come this can't support default system font. Needs to be fixed soon asap.

Having the same problem. If I understand correctly, this post is ONE year old ... and nothing has changed? That's a bit embarrassing Adobe ...
I also having this issue.
- I'm working on Win10.
- Got the Roboto font files form the Material Design guidelines.
- Using the Adobe XD App on a Nexus 9 with Android 7.1.1.
I'm getting the font not found error message and all the text is in Roboto Regular (no Italic, no Bold, no Thin etc.).
The Live Preview Mode is out of questions, because I'm on Win10 and it's not supported :-/

I am currently experiencing this bug with Roboto Condensed.
If I create a prototype on OS X and later open it on Windows, the “Fonts Missing” notification pops and the font is replaced.
I could change fonts in the current Windows session (to Roboto Condensed) and save my changes in Windows. But now I would have the same problem if I opened the file in OS X.
I noticed that Roboto is named differently in each OS. Fon instance, Windows calls it Roboto -Condensed Light while OS X calls it Roboto Condensed -Light.

I too am having this issue, Roboto Condensed and Roboto Condensed Bold are my only options, even though I have the full family installed on my computer.
I faced with this problem too ): But It's a very curiously, because Roboto is the default Android font.

Still receiving the 'Font Missing' error message on my Google Pixel with the Roboto Font.
Reply for "Many fonts arent displayed, like Montserrat, Gotham, Open Sans.
Any news for this bug"
If the file is viewed from CC, fonts will be shown as missing because we cannot transfer font files embedded in your XD file. We are restricted under copyright law.
If the file is viewed from USB, font files are transferred normally and text can be seen as per fonts applied, except for the few cases when the font files are restricted under some protected licenses.
In your case, Montserrat, Gotham, Open Sans will work if you view the file on Live Preview Mode (USB connected to desktop)
Let me know if this helps
@Adrien, This is a known bug and is very minor. Your text will be shown in Roboto on your device, the only thing is you are getting a wrong message of font missing.
Extra Info: Roboto is the default android font and for all those fonts which are not licensed to be viewed on android will be shown in Roboto font.
Not just with Roboto, many fonts arent displayed, like Montserrat, Gotham, Open Sans.
Any news for this bug ?
