Subtract tool squeze the image files
1. Version: 0.5.0.4 Beta
2. Import an image to XD - in my case it was screenshot from iPhone
Draw a square over the image you wold like to "crop" ( http://imgur.com/9ddp8nW) and select Subtract tool.
3. Since there is no Crop tool in XD I thought I can crop my screenshot using Subtract tool.
4. I does crop the image size, but it also shrinks/squeeze entire image to a new size. Screenshot: http://imgur.com/AEHqm0s
This should be fixed in our next update (after the one that was just released this week)

Bump. AFAIK, this is still an issue.

This is still happening BTW with 'Intersect' https://cloudup.com/cZouf7ADeiP - but 'Mask with Shape' works sweet. The only thing I'd say is that the intersect method might be what people try because it's in the properties/inspector panel.

thank you for reporting it; I logged internal bug.
but in general, you use Path's add, substract, etc tools to combine 2 path together; to do what you want, show only part of the image, you can use Masks. Draw a shape over the area of the image you want to keep, select it and select the image, and user Object ->Mask with Shape menu.
