  1. Adobe XD chrashes a lot after February 17 update

    After the last update (February 17) Adobe XD keeps crashing. I have never experienced this problem with the previous versions. It crashes both when I am working in it and when it is in the background. My OS is macOS Sierra 10.12.3.

    I really enjoy this application, but right now it is causing me some serious issues when losing hours of work several times a day.

    I have not been able to identify what is causing the application to crash.

  2. Text with alpha displayed wrongly on XD on iPhone connected via USB.


    1. Version 0.6.12.17 Beta

    2a. Create master colour with 40% alpha.
    2b. Apply colour to a text.
    2c. Copy and paste text from 2b.
    2d. Apply another colour (100% alpha) to pasted text from 2c.


    1. Text should be new selected colour with 100% alpha.


    2. Result shown on XD app on USB connected iPhone shows new colour with 40% alpha.

  3. [Polish keyboard] Right Alt + S shortcut Windows system default blocked

    For my Polish keyboard setup Alt+S shortcut is default for special 'ś' character.
    In Adobe XD this shortcut doesn't work.
    I remember that some time ago similar problem occured in Photoshop, where Alt + S combination was used for some function as application default. Needed to change it manually to something else.
    In XD there is no access to Preferences on Windows version, so I can't do that.

    The bug with export quality has been fixed in the April release, which is now available through the Creative Cloud. If you don’t see an update, click on the gear icon and select “Check for App Updates.”

  5. XD crashes when exporting artboards


    1. Windows 10, XD verson 0.6.12.17 Beta

    2. Export all or some artboards to PNG

    3. Should save as PNG to selected folder

    4. Crashes program, does not export artboard

    5. Video does not show program crashing bc our video capture device only captures selected program/screen. But it just closes the program at the end. 3 of 4 employees at our company are experiencing it.

  6. Crash while using a second monitor

    1) 0.6.12.17 Beta
    2) Open a couple of projects, Click outside in the finder on second monitor XD just crashes in the background.
    3) Expected to switch between programs as normal
    4) XD crashes in the back..

    Reinstalling CC does not help. Neither does running it from a clean user account.

    Please look into this problem.

    Sierra also recognised the crash with attached report.

  7. [Mac] Constant crashes on 0.6.12.17

    XD crashes more than 5 times a day , since updating last time.

    • 2016.2 after latest version update

    my pc spec is below.


    • macOS Sierra 10.12.1

    • XD 0.6.12.17 Beta

    a little improvement after trying the following.
    but, it still crashes many times a day.


    • close other software (photoshop, illustrator, slack...)

    • cleaned up storage

    • reboot the mac

    i use it every day at work.

  8. [Windows] Constantly crashing after January update

    Version: 0.6.12.17 Beta - Windows

    Although there are related reports on XD crashing on windows, in my case it happens with no specific action. Sometimes I'm changing space between elements, sometimes changing colors, sometimes I go get a cup of coffee and when I return, XD is missing, just gone.

    The first day this happened, there were a warning telling me to uninstall and install again in case this keep happening. I did it, but the XD is still crashing.

    Sometimes it happens within minutes after I open the program, sometimes after an entire afternoon.

    Hello Erik:

    Be sure to do a search on open bug reports to see if you can locate your issue and add your comment and vote to subscribe for updates on our investigations.

    If nothing reported is the same, file a new report and provide the following:
    - Details steps to encounter issue & any error dialogs
    - XD version
    - WinOS version
    - DxDiag, enter DxDiag into search and follow prompts to create file
    - Creative Cloud logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
    - Win crash dump file
    Follow this article to enable crash dumps: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/activate-windows-error-reporting-windows-8 (although the article says “Windows 8,” it works exactly the same in Windows 10). Use “Full dump” for the DumpType, not Mini.

    Then reproduce the crash again

    After XD crashes, go to the CrashDumps folder C:\Users\\AppData\Local\CrashDumps\
    and locate the file with the correct timestamp.

    Upload all requested files to file sharing service and then share link.

  9. Crash while saving in Windows 10

    One or two times a day, I've been experiencing the shut down while I'm saving files. It's on my local server and I'm using window10. I'd rather degrade my xd version from the newest one since the issues is happening after I updated recently.

    Here is summary below.

    1. the shut down while saving file and lost like 2-3hour works even I saved with short cut every 30min.


    2. Generally, saving and open a file take me at least 1 min depends on how big it is which isn't this way previously.

    This issue has been fixed in the May release of Adobe XD! To check out the latest version, go to the Creative Cloud desktop app! If you don’t see the update, you can select the gear and click on “Check for App Updates.”

  10. [Android] Font not found: Roboto

    Using the Android XD app, when I display a prototype that uses Roboto I get a message: Font not Found Roboto Regular/Medium/Bold/etc. and all text uses Roboto Regular.

  12. App Crashes on Save + Zoom Out before Save action complete [Windows]

    If I save a project and then immediately attempt to Zoom Out before the save is complete Adobe XD crashes entirely. I've attempted this on 2 different Windows computers and the issue occurred on both.

    Steps to replicate:
    Ctrl+S --> Immediately Ctrl+MouseWheel Down to zoom out

  14. 0.6.12.17 crashing permanently

    I cant reproduce what is happening, because XD now crashed just by bringing it into the foreground of my screen. The other 5 times today I also did nothing special. One time changing the space on my second screen.

    And as XD doesnt autosave I lost something between 1 and 2 hours of work today.

    Thanks Adobe for such a great product! So as 2 hours of work cover a Sketch licence I might just switch to that.

  15. [Windows] XD does not launch for users with spaces in their home directory (G14490)

    Space: the final frontier. Unfortunately, space is one of those things that XD isn’t handling well; if you can’t launch XD on Windows, you should check to see if you have a space or period in your home directory. We're working on a solution to the problem and will update you with the latest information when we have it!

    Hi, everyone-

    First of all, on behalf of the Adobe XD team, we apologize for the inconvenience of this bug. While we try our utmost to ensure that we don’t have significant problems with Adobe XD, sometimes things happen.

    I’m very happy to say that we just released a fix for this issue. Windows 10 users with spaces and periods in their home directories should now be able to use XD’s January beta. Please go to the Creative Cloud desktop, select the gear, and select “Check for App Updates.” A new version of XD should be available for you to download.

  16. [Windows] Older versions on another account (G13876)

    If you’re running multiple accounts on Windows 10, you know that you need to install applications separately for each account. However, if you have an older version of XD on another account on your system, you won’t be able to launch XD. In order to launch, you can either update or uninstall the application from the other account.

  17. [Windows] XD does not launch immediately after quitting (G13732)

    You’ve made a mistake and hit that big red X in the corner of the XD application, but launching it again doesn’t immediately bring up the application. In fact, repeatedly doing so will give you an error message! Instead, you should go make an espresso and wait for XD to launch (it will, we promise!).

  18. [Windows] Files take a long time to load (G14120)

    If you noticed that your larger files are opening a bit slower than they used to… you're not imagining things. While it might look like the application is hanging, it's not; it's an opportunity to take two deep breaths while you wait for XD to open (and yes, it will definitely still open!). The slowdown on file open is something we're aware of, and we're working on a fix for a future release to ensure we're back to full on zippy status.

    We’ve fixed this issue in the March release of Adobe XD. You can check for updates by going to the Creative Cloud application, clicking on the gear, and selecting “Check for App Updates.”

    2. Open any file (I tried the "dishy" example from adobe Xd website) --> Select an element --> click on Menu/Export... or Ctrl+E

  20. [Windows] Selected text when scrolling bug
