This is getting ridiculous how many features we are coming across that are missing and dont seem to be coming any time soon!

Guys, I love XD but you need to implement export PSD so badly. I don't dare asking for HTML export but PSD is a must!

The most important feature, clients don't know XD, they only know photoshop. So please we need this update as fast as it can be and for me its one of the most important feature I want in XD

I'm new to XD and even I have noticed this is a glaring omission. The creative cloud package is fantastic but surely one of the strengths is that the software packages talk to each other.

The lack of PSD export was the reason why I refrained myself of using XD when it came out although I really like it. Year later I decided to check it again and I still see that this feature is missing ;(

I opened XD for the first time an half hour ago with lots of hope. Willing to give it a try while starting a new project. So far it looks like an awesome tool. But my dev partner can t read anything else than layered .psd. And I am very disappointed that this feature is not even offered. No point for me to keep on the test :(

I use Adobe XD for embedded systems UX and UI. We use two development studios to develop our applications, both of which have an import PSD feature as their main selling points. If I could export to .PSD then the design to development flow will improve 10 fold for embedded applications.

Here is a workaround that I found that is probably in this thread, but here you go.
1. Export your Adobe XD artboard(s) as a SVG.
2. Open the SVG in Illustrator
3. Export the file as a Photoshop
4. Open the file in Photoshop
5. Clean-up/relabel layers as necessaryA pain in the butt to be sure, but until Adobe adds this, it's better than nothing.

Regarding https://www.photopea.com/ - this works... pretty well although it totally stretched out my images. Unfortunately since this is an online application vs. a download you likely won't be able to use it in a corporate environment due to security rules. Nice workaround if you're a freelancer or in a small studio though.

Like another commenter, I'm building rich-media assets but an XD file is completely useless to my dev partners. They need layered PSDs. You need to fix this Adobe, real quick or watch a lot of designers walk away from XD in droves because while it's a fantastic tool, it's utterly useless in a commercial digital production environment.

I agree and insist. And ask for it.

This is an absolute-must for XD.
And how about conversation from PSD back to XD.
Adobe, these features will strengthen the CC ecosystem. Big customer win.

I think that this request has to be an essential feature to be implemented on next Adobe XD version.

I use adobe-xd for design icon or some simple image, I can't export it for a useable file type, with more edit by ptotoshop.

This really needs to be a thing. I'm working on a new rich-media project but will be unable to use XD because the development team can only take layered PSDs. Such a waste of a great application.
