As a designer who is experimenting with, or possibly pioneering the use of, Adobe XD for my company, I need a way to get XD files into Photoshop. Why? Because the rest of the designers, and ALL of the developers still need access to my designs in Photoshop. If I use XD now, that means rebuilding everything in Photoshop for the rest of the team. Not exactly an efficient process, and unnecessarily time-consuming. We need this bridge between these two applications until XD becomes a more standard tool.

Please bring in Export to PSD ASAP. I am trying to switch to XD for my Web and App Design and Prototype but nothing after that. My Developers are unable to use this yet.

Hi Julie,
Can you explain briefly why your developers need PSD specifically, or what they are able to do with PSD/HTML that they can't achieve with say the developer specs XD site?
Where they can inspect and acquire layout, measurements, fonts, styles, colors, images, etc.

Creating Mobile App using Adobe XD: Most XD users require to hand off files to developers. There is ZERO option to export files to PSD with layers (which is what most developers want) or to HTML/XML/Other so that developers can edit and work with files. Saving as static images don't cut it and are useless. XD is for prototyping, BUT, what's the point when I have a design created in XD then have to redesign everything in Photoshop? Seems to me that XD is useless at this point unless you implement the Export > PSD > with Layers. How about making XD useful?

This feature is desperately needed. Greatly appreciate all the effort put into making Adobe XD solid.

Can you give us more information about your workflow? What are you trying to accomplish?
Cheers,

Hi,
As you may know, XD has a feature called "Publish Design Specs". Would it be useful in your process of handover the information to the developers?
Cheers,

By the time clients and developers, to whom design mockups are to be delivered for development purpose, are fully comfortable with XD, the feature of exporting as PSD with fully working layers is the BIG MUST.
