well
imagine the case that we sometimes have to prepare images for press announcements - these guys still use PS, so it would be great to let them import our designs to easily adapt the screens to their needs. -

How is it possible that this still has not been implemented yet? Why would the XD Team even question basic intercompatibility features with other Adobe products like Photoshop?

I cannot understand why this feature is not integrated yet, basic for working with development teams
Thanks

Was very happy to find XD as a possible replacement for sketch. But most developers still like to clip & crop from PSD as their knowledge of design GUI programs are limited. No PSD export no XD for my agency. I simply can't waste time on the overcomplicated & frankly messy SVG-Ai-PSD approach.
XD will not get the adoption it needs if this doesn't get added soon. Simple as that.

Also needing this. I need to get the design in Photoshop to add more details on the images, crop angles, etc. There are things that still can't be done in XD and Photoshop would do the job just fine.

I still must stick with Photoshop only because of PSD requests from clients.
XD file seems so simple (without prototyping data) when compare with PSD so I think that exporting to PSD is not too hard for you, dear Adobe. -

This feature alone would be the reason I would switch to XD from sketch. Clients STILL demand PSDs..

I'm a web UI designer and I'm a Chinese person.
Millions designers and developers still don't want to use AdobeXd, they use Sketch or Photoshop to working.
Frankly speaking there is no place for AdobeXd in work environment because:
1. Our clients still needs PSD file, they still use old version windows like windows 7, some of them are government entities can't updating system and install AdobeXd.
2.PSD file is more useful than .xd file, Figme can open PSD, lunacy can open PSD, Adobe XD can open PSD, Affinity Designer can open PSD, and if you use sketch, you also can convert PSD to Sketch file.
The .xd file, guess what? Only can force everyone in team to use AdobeXd without other choice.
If I want share my design with other people around the world, I need export PSD file!
3.AdobeXd is not strong enough, has no plugin like Zeplin or Sketch measure,
Design Specs? actually, it's difficult to use because of unstable server and internet speed problem.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the end, I think Adobe just don't want designers and developers use other apps, if they use AdobeXd, everyone in their team also have to use AdobeXd. -

Yeah.
The PSD files can open in Adobe XD, can open in Figma, can open in Lunacy、Affinity Designer and can convert to sketch. But the .xd files, guess what? only can open in Adobe XD.
I think Adobe just don't want designers and developers can't use other apps, if they use Adobe xd, everyone in their team also have to use Adobe Xd.

EXPORTING TO PSD is the main request we are getting from our dev team.
We currently do this by exporting a .svg file then exporting from illustrator as .psd files. This works relatively well however, any text blocks get broken down into individual lines per layer rather than remaining in paragraphs.
This is currently causing us to question using this software at all.

Agree taking double the time to build the PSD from XD for the developer

I really wonder all the third party plugins like Zeplin, Avocode, Simpli, Protopie and Kite are Mac supported tools. Not even single plugin is available for Windows users, where as Mac users already have Sketch and most of them stick to it. You guys are planning to drive the attention of Sketch users to you by providing these plugins, but you are ignoring one thing that soon windows users too will shift to Figma. So please try to provide the support or enable exporting designs in PSD format.
