This is basic UX to be able to share how a UX flows from a high level with clients. The fact that XD had this feature and then removed it is pretty ridiculous. Please bring this back!

This would be a great feature. In Adobe Illustrator an artboard can be nested within a larger artboard to allow for exporting, for example, multiple frames of an animated banner as a single storyboard with labels for each frame, version information etc. Some version of this functionality in XD would be outstanding.

The only way to achieve this would be to copy + paste the created wireframes/prototypes/flows into an alternative Adobe software like Indesign/Illustrator and then export from there. It seems illogical to say the least that you have to use other Adobe products to achieve simple 'export as one [file]' option. this should be the basic function of any software especially if other products created and managed by the same company already have that basic function....

It's mind boggling that as a brand there is not a standard that they're willing to hold themselves up to. This is a UX software for crying out loud. The fact that UX software has ALL the UX issues is the irony of all ironies. Adobe, if you're not sure how the basic UI/UX/Prototyping tool should function, kindly ask UI/UX experts or at the very least look at the competition and do at the very minimum the same.

I found a way to do this right-clicking outside the screen/image

1. I have 30 artboads in my workspace. I wanted to export them as they were laid out in the general workspace, to PDF; there is no option.

2. I then wanted to take 5 related artboards, and put them on one large artboard that I could then export; no arboard merge option exist. Ideally the merged artboad would have a sum of all objects of both artboards, keeping their group tructure.

3. So I had to go through 30 artboards, and manually group all of their objects, so that I could, then again, manually drag those groups into one large artboard and organize. Literally pulled out a bottle of my favorite because my throat was hurt from cursing and screaming at the screen. THANKS!

I'm loving XD, but this is really a downside to it. I was expecting the Export menu to have an "Export All as one image..."

I just had the same problem. Solved it by grouping the items you want to export. Just right click and group them then export.

Other leading UX software support the production multiple types of deliverables (User flows, architecture maps, etc.). With XD really only supporting interactive wireframes or mockups, our team can't fully adopt XD as a core platform.

We typically lay out artboards in a pattern which visually displays hierarchy or flow. However, to present this to clients, we have to resort to other third-party programs (see overflow.io) or entirely other platforms such as Figma, UXPin, or Invision. This is because their enterprise security policies either prevent them from installing XD or prevent files from being shared via Adobe's cloud.

In lieu of the below submissions being either ignored or misinterpreted, could we please get the ability to export the pasteboard into a pdf (vector at least), so we could zoom out to see overall flow, and zoom in to examine the details outside of XD (ie. on a tablet or mobile or with someone who doesn't/can't install XD). It would even be better if we could export a section of the pasteboard.

Screengrabs are insufficient because the rastered image doesn't have the detail necessary when we zoom in.

press ctrl+a -> right click -> make component -> ctrl+y -> right click on your component -> export selected -> set format & location to save -> export

then you'll have single jpg/png

When we can have a multi artboard export.
Right here im talking about export artboard (.XD formate ), suppose i have XD file that contains 35 boards, I can export the assets but when I want to export these artboard I have to do single by single ... Hope you get my point will add this feature sooner or later

I need to export all artboards to a unique image in order to see the workflows and the global interaction. This image should preserve the order of artboards on the canvas.

Importing to InDesign is an unnecessary step it would be easier to do it in Adobe XD itself Just like Sketch App does it. we are not talking about Adobe Illustrator we are talking about Adobe XD cheers

Create a page in Indesign, import all artboards/pages at same percentage and arrange them like your canvas in Illustrator. The export as PDF.

If you have change elements on artboards, they will update easily in your INDD file.

Its easier to shar the whole app design as there are more than 20 artboards. to arrange them in one parent artbaord and export it to jpg and png just like what sketch does even figma does that attached the screen shot of how sketch doest it. In XD we should be able to do it by selecting parent artboard then File>Export>Selected

AGREED! would be helpful for proof reviews of a project. The ability to Export the entire CANVAS would be perfect.

Really need this feature. For the moment I use overflow.io to import the XD artboards and export a single png from Overflow app.

I'd like to export all artboards in one file.
Now I can only view one artboard of the sharing links, I want to see all the artboards, and I can choose one to view.

I want to export my workspace including prototyping links an one large image. Right now, I have to zoom out and screengrab which is poor quality.
