Android Tethered (USB) Mobile Device Preview on Windows

  1. WIN 10 latest anniversary update.
  2. XD from appstore installed
  3. Connected via USB
  4. Opened XD
  5. Opened App on OS
  6. Nothing on the XD mobile
  7. No mobile icon on XD desktop top right corner

WIN 10 Pro / Anniversary update
Iphone 5 SE / latest iOS update (just right now)

    @Elaine, can you provide an update this feature? You say it's not a quick fix, but it's been a year and half since you replied here. Is the solution still in progress or has it been abandoned?

    Can't you guys just copy what Protopie's solution with live preview? I understand that there are inherent limitations, but the current solutions are mediocre at best. The Adobe XD app for Android takes, on average, around 3 minutes to load my documents, and when they do it's already behind the latest changes I've made to my project in the meantime. All of this defeats the point of "real-time preview."

    I find it very frustrating that the icon appears on the win version. It tells you to be on mac... what a disappointment !

    @all here, I agree the Windows experience for mobile preview is lackluster. But I have proposed a separate solve in a new thread for consideration, especially since learning of the hurdles Adobe is having to go through with Microsoft on this feature.

    In short, I want a better untethered experience that does not require files to live in Creative Cloud. This will benefit ALL users, regardless of operating system.     It is really annoying to upload the files on the creative cloud folder and then access it from the XD app.

    It should work like it does on Mac
