Pen and touch support in windows 10
Currently it's not possible at all to work with Experience Design using touch or pen input on Windows 10. Please improve that.
With this release, we have enabled basic pen and touch support for XD on Windows as a companion to the mouse and keyboard.
You can find more info about the feature here:
We look forward to receiving your feedback.
I am using wacom intuos 4 with latest drivers and software.. yet still can't do a proper panning or zoom \ in and out

Find a solution for W10 & Intuos :
1) Turn off Windows Ink
2) In the Intuos Touch Parameters > Standard gestures ("Gestes standard" in French) make sure the option "Drag and drop" is checked
3) In the windows Pen parameters > Check "Allow me to use the pen like mouse..." and "Ignore touch input when i use the pen"
Don't know if all of this is required but it's worked for me !

I am trying to move the work space using spacebar and One by wacom model pressing the pen nib on tablet even i switched off the windows ink but still its not working
Panning with Surface Pen and Spacebar still doesn't seem to work though.
I would like to use the shortcuts of the spacebar in combination with my wacom drawing tablet to move whithin my document.
Now this only works if i turn of windows ink, in the wacom control center app. However this has an effect on using the pressure sensitivity on other apps.
I tried to make an Application preference for XD in the wacom control center, but since XD is a windows UWP app, I can't acces it from this app.
Thanks for the update Dan, I have just tried it out it's good that I can use a pen in my work, but for me it doesn't add much more functionality than was available with a mouse.
I have documented an 'inking' feature request https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/33323866-ink-tool which is where I expected the pen support to go.

Touch and pen are not a 'nice to have' but a 'must have' feature in 2018. I have the new surface pro but the new stylus doesn't do anything in XD besides selecting the tools. The pen works perfectly in PhotoShop and Illustrator. Please make this a priority.

Has anything been changed? Lenovo Yoga 720 here, really really really wanted pen support for XD. Really disappointing that it is not available. This is perfect program for clients and I defeat the purpose of touch screen,.....

Marius, that worked fantastically. I can now use Xd with my Intuos P S Tablet.
Still, this needs to be treated as a priority so Windows users don't have to rely on workarounds or hacky solutions.
Actually, there is a workaround for the Wacom users. Given the fact that you wouldn't need pressure sensitivity in XD you can uncheck "Use Windows Ink" on your Wacom Tablet Properties, Mapping tab.
Hope this helps!
i cant work with my dell canvas and xd.... i am angry....
Why not let us have temporary pen support for now, with an option checkbox to "emulate mouse clicks with Pen / Tablet?" I see hints that's exactly what's being done on the Mac side (such as oversensitivity to moves during taps). The disappointment is greater because XD is supposedly out of beta. Use of the pen/stylus is not a nice-to-have for UX designers who logged years into using Wacom and/or Windows Tablet PC. It's often an RSI issue and we simply cannot do our work with a mouse anymore. Please give us a timeline for enabling some form of this feature.
Im am really disappointed, I can't work using my Wacom tablet in XD... How is that possible? Please work on this hard. Hope the new year 2018 will bring the pen and touch support! Thx in advance! J

or may be we should better just wait for InVision Studio?

how long can it take to just add the basic functionality like this? It's ironical how you promote this app on the screen of a surface pro or surface studio. why not be sincere here and use the old keyboard and mouse in your promotional emails?
And now you have delivered the XD and is not a beta version anymore and you are charging for use it.... when are you thinking on fixing this?

Do we known around when we can expect this update? I recently got a Wacom MobileStudio Pro, and I'd love to use it with Adobe XD on my long LIRR commute into NYC ;)
