Inner Shadow

First comment on this forum - just to bump this thread. Corey Lucier (Adobe) stated XD wasn't just for the web, this stance kinda sucks. Peter Flynn (Software Engineer, Adobe) asked us to keep an eye on these threads…
* Inner shadow: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/15631440-inner-shadow
* Multiple shadows (and fills/strokes): https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12956715-multiple-fills-borders-and-shadowsBoth of which are stale - still no updates.
When neo-morphism hits, which it more than likely will if Apple adopt it in iOS, this application/platform is going to suffer.
I can't implement UI/UX kits for modern CSS frameworks if XD doesn't support the same design scopes os modern browsers.

Not even a peep. With the upcoming trend of neo-morphism UI (soft UI), this is bound to become an essential way to build UIs to match that look. They are claiming that Apple is investigating making iOS 14 look like this.

Been almost 4 years and still no spread and inner shadow? Or did I missed any releases...

STILL? Absolutely stunned that this isn't an available feature. Guess I'll have to go back to Sketch if Adobe can't even manage the most basic of features.

Wow... this idea was shared in 2016, and now, 3 and a half years later, we need to still vote on it to be in the product. It's such a basic function of design, I didn't even consider this not being as standard...

We're in 2020 and there's no inner shadow yet

Please add inner shadow.

Enable users the ability to add one or more inner shadows to a shape.
This would be an extremely useful feature because it would prevent me from having to poorly simulate this feature by creating a stroke and then adding a drop shadow to it. This is also important because it would make for cleaner more organized and less confusing project files.

I agree we do need this feature, but you can mimic it pretty easily by just drawing a 1px line and giving that a shadow of your liking. Color match it to your container and you can custom shadow to your hearts content.
Not the cleanest approach of course, but it def works for demonstration/layout purposes.

Since this request is ignored for several years, can we just have a CSS box in the properties panel and let users attach their own CSS code to objects?

Agreed, this would be so valuable!

Although there are a lot of requests for new features, I have some that almost every designer would wish to see in Adobe XD. Being a huge fan of Adobe XD, I would wish that it would include more effects that could be applied to shapes such as inner shadow and warping effect.

Ok, so blend modes were recently added, fkn Yah! Where are the multiple Fills? Actually, it's ridiculous that inner shadow seems to be missing from an obviously CSS and Device design tool -- which both CSS and all devices have as a standard features.
PS. I'm still annoyed that after 10+ years, that Illustrator also never got this feature?

Multiple Shadow feature is missing in adobe xd as well as blend mode for shadow, color picker icon for a shadow on the right side.

Would be nice if there was at least an option for specifying CSS properties so I can easily create shadows based on material ui etc. Trying to convert in my head to get something approximate is confusing and difficult. I understand you want to support more than just CSS shadows, but I'm betting that is a HUGE part of what your users are doing, so you should support that major use case. You're a UX program. Listen to your users.

A shame that this feature got ignored.

I was all-in on using XD for all my designs until I hit a wall by not having all the same shadow properties as CSS-box-shadow. I had to go to a different tool to create the shadows I needed.

I am constantly surprised at how some basic elements which are achievable in CSS, like inner shadow, aren't available in XD.

Seriously need inset shadows. Maybe the ability to select different border widths for different sides of a container would be a nice add too.

Really need inner shadows! Any idea when we can expect this to be added?
Since CSS can do inner/inset shadows on objects, XD needs to be able to do the same. We can't create a complete design for development since we can't show all of the shadows we want.
