Inner Shadow

Please make inner shadow opacity independent of background opacity.
It is NOT yet possible to combine a very transparent background (e.g. black: 1% opacity) with an inner shadow. Currently, the inner shadow will also be reduced to 1% opacity.

Please also implement multiple shadows on the same object (like in the multipule-inner-shadows.JPG) in order to be able to create realistic shadows. Currently, with multiple objects, we would need to explode those objects for devs to get the different CSS properties from the different objects.

I have to go to other tools just for some basic things like this!

Like many other suggested. Because of this small thing people need to go to Figma. This ridiculous thing is making you loose users.

This and the lack of basic text features like bulleted lists are really turning me off XD. How are there 3D transforms and before basic features like these?

seriously, no inner shadows make me want to give up on XD! 5 years! it should be there by now, come on

I don't know how Adobe can ignore this for such a long time! This is the reason I had to switch to Figma several times.

I think we're starting to give up on XD.

I hardly able to stop laughing that Adobe can ignore this feature for such a long time.

I cannot believe nothing has been released on this. I have convinced multiple clients to switch to XD since the very first days in 2016 because of the tie-in to Adobe systems, so many other great features, the performance, and the ease of use. I even get colleagues (dev and design) to vote on user voice. I am having a harder and harder time to sell the 'user-focused' approach, if simple styling features like this one (supported by so many other Adobe products) stay in the backlog for almost 5 years.

I thought I was missing something when I couldn't find the way to do this. Yes, workarounds exist, but should be supported out of the box.

The fact that this, and all the common effects found in other Adobe programs, isn't included is quite ridiculous.

It's been 4 years! I won't subscribe to a adobe plan until this feature exists!
Uninstalling XD now.Plus all the features like masking are hidden behind keyboard shortcuts because they wanted an empty toolbar instead of subscribers.

this is not fair we have an outer shadow but relatively we don't have an inner shadow

Can't believe this hasn't happened yet. Inner shadow is by far the easies way to create single bordered edges. Come on Adobe.

We're doing crazy, time consuming workarounds. Please make this happen! -

We need this !!!!

Why is this still an 'idea' since 2016? This basic feature should have been in the software since it's launch!

Inner shadow styling is much needed, particularly since Adobe Illustrator assets with filters do not export into XD, including Adobe Stock assets.
