Tabbed design view for multiple files
Similar to Photoshop or Illustrator (See attached file), it would be valuable to allow for multiple files to be opened and arranged in the design pane using tabs. This would give users a quick way to switch between their projects and will provide a much better workflow in general.
This is a must for me!

Adding my vote to this feature as well. It is very necessary for efficiency and work flow. I would complete my job so much quicker 😩

Adding my vote for this feature. Really surprised it wasn't part of the original release!

Is this STILL not a feature?

I'd love to see Xd provide the ability to have multiple documents open in tabs, instead of individual windows, like other Adobe applications: Ai, Ps, etc. Unless this already exists?

yes this feature is required and please update it ASAP

I know the XD team is cranking out new features all the time, but this functionality is standard within the industry and Adobe apps.
Looks like it has been Under Review for 4 years now. C'mon guys, can this be prioritized?

....do you guys need some help designing the tab functionality? You've got 87 of us (minimum) who would be happy to pick up the slack for your team.

HAHAHAH "Under Review"? Like you have to think about it? Who's thinking about it? Who's going "guys......I understand we've implemented this paradigm in every other Adobe app but....................Gosh, I don't know if this is the right call........"

Why didn't Adobe implement this feature yet? How can they assume designers can ignore this?

How is this not a thing yet? Seems like it would be a simple/quick fix. Come on Adobe!

Please, we need this simple feature, come on XD...

Can't believe it still doesn't have this. XD sucks.

I can't believe it still doesn't have this. XD is not fun to work with compared to Sketch.

It would really save time for users if XD used a similar system like Photoshop how there is only one photoshop open with multiple files open. Sometimes users have mulitple XD files open and its always having to maximize out of this one file to get find another file.

I maybe working way later than I should be, but it seems there's no way to close a document in XD withough closing the application instance. If I click Home, it opens a new instance of the application.
To further clarify:
I would like to avoid having multiple instances of applications cluttering my screen. As an example, in other Adobe Suite products, you can have multiple files opened within a tabbed environment, and have instance access to those documents, and if need be, you can rearrange your working environment to see docs side by side, etc..., or even pull them out of the root application. Besides cluttering up the screen, I can assume another instance of the app is a drain on resources. Most modern design apps allow multiple files to be open, as perhaps part of the same project. Say at the basic level I'd want to compare two artboards that exist in separate files.
