Export whole artboards (or entire project) as HTML
It would be great to Export Prototypes as pure HTML Projects. I am working a lot on Multiscreen apps, where I mostly use Serveal Webcontainers Running on several Screens, to develop those Applications.

Yes I also need a replacement for MUSE. Adobe has let us down so often with the demise of Edge Animate and Muse, Adobe you owe your customers what they paid for. Make XD export a useable website!

Please DON'T build this feature. It would distract from XD's purpose and evolution.
Writing code that adheres to best practices, is performant, and optimized for search engines is time-consuming. The amount of initial effort to have a feature like this work properly would be enormous. Not to mention all the ongoing maintenance to keep it up-to-date.
XD is a rapid prototyping tool that's getting better with each release. Let's not make it into something it isn't.

Seems like the logical replacement for Muse.

This would be awesome! Even exporting to Dreamweaver would be a great option.

If you do this, links from buttons to artboards should be included, otherwise it is not very useful

Export to DW is a good start.
Now you create and design a whole project and you must start over IN DW to get it on the web.
Why use XD then, I can create it in DW and show this to my customer. -

Would love this to export entire project as HTML and CSS where needed with the backend functions being noticeable in the code and left as a sort of Plug and Play. So it speeds up the overall process

This option seems like such a no-brainer but I think I understand why it's been left out, that sort of functionality in a free application could reduce revenue created by people purchasing Dreamweaver or another HTML/CSS capable application. I also see that a lot of the actual "app" functionality is not there because it's essentially a mock-up program. For instance XD has the ability to SHOW you a number of posts on your newly created social media app but doesn't include any of the back-end workings to allow new users and post creation and things like that, as well as a myriad of other functions I have no idea about - I'm sure. I see it as does the mock-up get you close enough that if you COULD export as HTML/CSS that you could easily implement the back-end functionality that would be required? Or would you have to do so much more work it would be easier to just recreate the app from the ground up. Those things I don't know. What I do know is that I love the ease of creating websites with XD ... website mock-ups anyways ... and I imagine exporting to HTML would be a fairly easy final step to implement. As opposed to a fully functioning phone app. For now I see XD as the perfect tool for creating websites twice. And that is sad because it's really a great tool.

Will it be possible to export a prototype to HTML?

I think Adobe realize XD can be standalone website development tool so they're discontinuing Muse.
XD already has the ability to share prototype workflow containing transition, and workflow with a client.
So if we can export it as HTML file, and publish it on our own hosting (Blue host, Godaddy, etc's) it would eliminate re-work it on Dreamweaver, or other Web design application.
Or provide direct web hosting publish option as Muse did.In addition, if some of Muse components like web plug-in (such as SNS data fetcher, E-mail form, Survey, and other useful web plug-ins) it'll become the MOST POWERFUL tool for web designers.
I'm glad this request is under review, and hope this option is available ASAP.

Please add the ability export prototypes as pure HTML Projects, I like XD, but not being able to create an actual website is a real let down.

Adobe XD is useful for prototype presentations obviously, but i think the true potential is to make it able for exporting directly to pure html and css.
