Tap/Hover Effect
Need Little bit tapping/hover effect on list/buttons/links during presentation to client. Its give an actual working product feel and help to make decision.
rollover, mouseover
Tap & Hover functionality is now available in XD 24!

Is this a fucking joke? Still no tap / hover in yet another update? Could't be more annoyed!
I would understand if this was a "bonus feature", but it's an ESSENTIAL! -

This feature would be incredibly helpful. Recently ran a user test that would have gone much better if tooltips were possible. Actually had several users say, the buttons could really use tooltips. I was like, I know...

I just listened to an Adobe Live with Howard Pinsky (forgot his title) and Jessica Moon. Clearly they know it's a major pain point for users. He even has a hard time bringing it up and his explanation makes no sense.
So I think what his reasoning is is that you would have to have multiple artboards linked together and the only change on the artboards would be the color of the button changing.
What doesn't make sense to me though is that is already how it works with tap and auto-animate. If you want to animate an object you have to duplicate the artboard then make whatever change there is. So I don't get why it’s not a problem to duplicate artboards so animate buttons, but having to do the same process for a hover state would be an issue.
He also said if you presented a client with all those artboards it would be a problem. But a good designer wouldn’t send the client those hove state artboards anyways.
To add to that Figma, and InVision Studio’s have hover states and it seems to be working just fine for them
IDK, this was a very poor reason IMO.
They start talking states @ 2:15

Would love to see this added, potentially allowing auto animate between two states for micro-interactions.

this a fundamental feature for such a tool. I appreciate it a free tool (i am a CC subscriber) but it's like being given a Porsche 911 with an engine.

Please do it @Adobe!!! 🙏🙏🙏

@haters stop your moaning.... It's a free and ever improving product, that kicks serious ass in its simplicity.
Be creative in your approach in the mean time.

USER-CENTERED DESIGN
7, 302 votes (and counting) have not been enough to have this option available.
This feature is available on Muse which will soon be disabled. Why if you thought that was important to have it on Muse, you didn't do it with XD that came out after and both are web design apps? -

...even the "preview on device" is such a broken feature. installed the app on my iphone, plugged in to my PC and yet live preview shows nothing. what a bummer! i have been an adobe jock for years. come on guys, u can do better than this.

Thanks for the new update of Component.
But the hover is still in progress.
Adobe has always been my first choice of software because I consider it is the leader of the design industry.
Yet it is a shame that the most BASIC feature is still unavailable.
PLS! -

I like this tool, it makes my workflow much faster. But without a simple mouseover or hover, I'm tempted to drop it completely and move to a competitor.
This is such a simple request, it makes me think Adobe completely ignores these comments altogether. It's been 3 YEARS since this BASIC feature was requested.
