Need Little bit tapping/hover effect on list/buttons/links during presentation to client. Its give an actual working product feel and help to make decision.

This is exactly the feature-fail that will drive users to Figma, Proto.io, etc. Micro-interactions or simple hover states are common in the new and upcoming prototype tools.

It's getting old having to make two prototypes, one in invision just to show hover actions for menus & other items.

Not sure how you can design a UX/UI without this. Sometimes you need Tooltips or Hover effects to help the user understand something.

This should be in active development! It is a major way to show customers how a UI will work and test usability. Not sure what "in-the-backlog" means here but please give attention to this item. 2000+ votes!

My main use for XD has been web prototyping, but workarounds for a simple hover state are getting really old. Please add this feature!
