• can't edit any part of text separately . Try to give different weight, style, size or color any piece of text, this changes whole text.
• can't kern any text
• can't give a line height *this is vital
• can't reach glyph
you can now set multiple range styles on a single text field as well as line spacing.

Thanks for your feedback and making XD great!

great news! Love what you are doing with the app.

Additionally, if you choose a font family for a project, remember that selection for that project. If I choose ComicSans as a font while I'm working, I shouldn't have to re-select it every time I want to add type.
Key commands for adjusting line-height and kerning too please.
Totally agree with previous comment. Underline and colour - pleeeeeeeeeeeeease... I'm dying here...
Sub-Range Styling should also include text color and underlining. Especially for links.

Yes, basic typesetting (leading—this is critical, paragraph level settings—not entire text box) tools please. Also should be able to set a default font or at least remember the type family currently in use. At times, I feel like I'm setting metal type (letter by letter, and line by line).

Also, switch between all uppercase/lowercase.
Thanks Peter, I think this is really essential and hopefully not a poor underline like Illustrator but a controllable one like CSS. I'll go and vote now... Cheers J
I've added a separate feature request for underlined text specifically: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13826292-underline-text
(Underline is not in the original request here, but a number of the comments mention it so supporters of this item may want to upvote the underline request too).

Key commands to adjust type size, leading and tracking would be a huge help.

Line height is still not correct... at the moment it acts more like it does in print design. For web, type fits vertically central to its line height. it does not sit on the baseline.
It would be great if it reflects how it would sit on the web.
We also can't set a "default" font. It slows me down a ton when I have to stop after each time I use the type tool and set the font face all over again. We only use one font at my company.

After April update it's still not possible to format a range of words inside a text with bold, italic or underline.
Underline is still missing. Please add character underline or paragraph rule options.
I think text features were more important then UI Kits added in the last update.
My biggest complaint with web design and prototyping apps is the lack of proper type formatting. Text is so important on the web, and I have yet to see bulleted lists, tabbing/indentation, and other type controls available. I love where XD is heading – the repeat grid feature is amazing. I'd prefer jpegs weren't downsampled on import; sometimes the image isn't large enough to begin with.
I'm designing an App using a typeface which defaults to Oldstyle figures and would love to use the Lining figures included with the font. A feature which allowed me to switch between Tabular and Proportional, Lining and Old Style would be awesome.

I want to be able to adjust the leading between lines of type.
This is taking TOO LONG guys. Come on.... Now working in Sketch and I find it so bulky to work with but It is the only option (photoshop is WAY more bulky than sketch). And still can't go on my XD files because of these typographic features missing. Line-height missing...?! dudes....

Yeah, only did it much better than in Photoshop. One of the major issues with Photoshop's paragraph/character styles is the inability to reorganize the CSS classes to keep things neat and tidy. So I can keep my H1-H6 styles together, so I can organise my overrides in the character palette, all my A states etc.
I'm sure this is coming... Full options for typesetting. Line height, tracking, etc. Some won't be needed i.e Baseline shifts n such.
Eagerly waiting for the type style feature to be added.
