This is possible today: just hold down Alt (aka Option) while dragging one corner handle. In the near future you will also be able to set separate corners from the properties panel, which should help make this easier to discover.
Provide us an upfront tool to add or insert image / images and also option to replace the same.
Its very important to add icons also .2 votes
We’ve confirmed that File > Import is what you guys are looking for.
Edit Vector from Illustrator in Adobe XD2 votes
Can you add handle points to scale down or up text?2 votes
If you’re using point text, you can drag on the bottom handle to scale your text.
Because text does not resize the same way objects do, it would be nice to have the option to expand text to outlines the same way Illustrator does. This would turn text into shapes and allow for resizing/shaping.1 vote
This is already possible in XD. With the text object you want to convert selected, choose Object > Path > Convert to Path, or press Cmd+8 (Mac) or Ctrl+8 (Windows).
An extra feature for the keyboard triggers to be able to facilitate shortcut mode as well.
The feature would be able to set up 2-3 buttons as a trigger to show a new overlay or artboard. (example: Command+K, Command+Space bar or Command+Shift+E).1 vote
Closing this as already delivered. Thanks for getting back to us!
I want to be able to have the option to name my Character Styles, ex. "Heading 1" "Heading 2" "Body text" etc. and Colors "Primary", "Secondary" etc.1 vote
It would be awesome to have a keyboard shortcut to quickly apply 0% opacity to elements.
As an example, I do this often to keep elements on the page and use them as anchor points in prototypes, despite them not being visible. #ghostbutton
Thanks for your time! :)1 vote
As someone commented, we already have this feature! Closing this as completed.
When in Prototype Mode, sometimes elements are very far away on canvas.
Screen should scroll when trying to connect to Prototype Target.1 vote
This is now the default behavior as of our June release! Please try it out and let us know what you think.
Consolidation, iteration, etc would be improved by allowing wires to be copied with artboards as they are moved between documents.1 vote
This is already possible in Adobe XD. If you copy the selected artboards while in the Prototype mode, when you paste them, their wires and defined interactions will be retained. If you copy and paste while in Design mode, then the wires and interactions are not retained.
It would be very helpful if it was possible to simply export a self-contained HTML demo from Adobe XD. This means it would export all artboards as HTML pages, with links available between them as defined in the Prototype mode into a single folder on my computer. No need for internet access, cloud access, or enterprise security accommodations... just an export to a local folder.
From there, I can decide the best means to share it with users or other stakeholders, using whatever means my company allows.
Non-cloud publishing is already available for enterprise accounts. I’ve followed up with contact information to get the OP (who has a CC Enterprise account) connected with the right person.
When you resize two objects, even if booth have the same size, they will resize to a value out of the pixel grid, with decimals. (see video attached)1 vote
We removed fractional pixels on resize of a group in August, but it will not fix groups that are already knocked off-pixel.
You should be ashamed guys...1 vote
There’s now a language selector in the Help menu.
I do appreciate the effort of including new languages (like Portuguese-BR) on Adobe XD. Even though I live in Brazil, I'm used to work with softwares and apps in English.
I would really like to have the option to change the language of Adobe XD, without have to change the language on my OS.1 vote
You can now change your language in the Help menu. Simply change the language and restart XD to launch in a different language.
When I'm creating a button and want to add 4 px rounded corners to it, instead of guessing what 4px looks and dragging the cursor like I would like to be able to enter that the corners should be 4px in the sidebar near where the height and width are set.1 vote
You can already do this in the property inspector in the Appearance section. The corner controls are right underneath the opacity controls and above the Fill. Let us know if you need more than this!
Can we get "Open from your computer" in the mac file menu. It is painful to go have to click twice to open files.1 vote
This is now in the menu.
We need a keyboard shortcut to quickly and easily switch the grid layout on and off1 vote
Thanks! There already is one:
On Mac, use main menu: View > Show Layout Grid which shows shortcut: Shift-Cmd-’
On Windows, it’s in the Artboard Context menu: Shift-Ctrl-’
Ability to import PSDs into XD projects. Right now we have to Open the PSD, then copy the assets from that new project into the XD project we're working on. It would be a major improvement in workflow if we could simply use the Import feature which is currently limited to JPGs, PNGs, GIFs and SVGs.
This would remove the 2 extra steps of 1) exporting the PSD into a PNG and 2) copying assets from opened PSD into current project.1 vote
You can now import PSDs into XD files by using Import… If you have any additional feedback, please feel free to file a new ticket!
It would be very helpful to have a Convert Point Tool (I believe it's called) where you can edit all of your paths that you created with the actual Pen Tool itself. I know XD is supposed to be much more simple than Illustrator is, but there are some things that a person just needs to learn before he gets into a design and this is one of them. Honestly, the only reason I switched from Ai to Xd is that the overall work experience is a lot better but not having features like this one annoys me very much.1 vote
You can already convert an anchor point on a path in XD, from straight to curved, or curved to straight. To do so while drawing a new path with the Pen tool, simply double-click on the last point you created. To convert a point on a path you’ve already created, double-click on the path you want to edit with the Select tool, then double-click on any point on the path to convert it.
If i publish a prototype privately and i invite another designer on the team, the designer should be able to view my prototype on his XD mobile app just like it was his1 vote
You can now share a document instead of a prototype. Once the document has been shared with them, your designer can open the document in the mobile application under Shared with You.
