Share link Again button placement feels like it should switch place with Update link..
I usually send out links to the team/clients, and when I want to update the Link (Share Again) then right after clicking the buttons change to "Update Link" or "Create New Link" The one beneath the mouse cursor is Create New, and that really is a mess since its really easy to missclick that button. I generally always just want to Update my prototype since the link is already out there.. Not have a chance to missclick the New link and have to send a new link again to everyone..
please fix :)

We’ve been working on this panel for a while to make it more usable. Right now, we have Update highlighted, so it’s your primary action.
Line break in comments
Ideally 'shift' + 'enter' would be the shortut key for that line break9 votes
You can use “Shift + Enter” key in the comment edit field to add a new line break while adding comment in web prototype.
Updating this thread as complete.
When I publish a prototype and share it with collegues or clients, they make comments on it. But as the owner of the prototype, only I get notifications when a new comment is made.
I like the new feature that allows us to publish private prototypes and invite people. They might get notifications on Adobe Creative Cloud, but even if they create an Adobe account, not all of them would download Adobe Creative Cloud or check the account regularly. It would be great if they also get the notifications by e-mail, like they get the invitation.7 votes
In case of any comment activity on a private link, reviewers are notified via email as well as creative cloud desktop app. This is already working today if you use the latest version of XD.
Note that email notifications go to any reviewer for that comment thread where activity is happening. You also have the ability to @mention specific reviewers on the private link.
This is done. Now, when you go to full screen, you can copy/paste the link and it would have appended “?fullscreen” to the url. Thank you for the idea!
The shared preview mode (link) is not 1:1 size matching the artboard resolution (f.e. like invision), but in smaller size and cannot be adjusted, so client cannot see the original scale and details of larger (long) websites... Maybe it's not a bug, but a missing feature, but I would not mind if you just copy invision in this:))7 votes
Now that we have artboard scrolling, you should be able to view your artboards at 100% and scroll through in the Preview window.
Is there a way to get rid of that default annoying grey border in shared prototypes? What's the purpose? It doesn't appear when viewed on laptop, why it's showing on mobile?
I have a black background design of a mobile app. When viewed on a mobile phone it really impacts the overall experience and generates confusion (is it intentional?).6 votes
The prototype border has been removed; you will need to republish your prototypes to see the change.
When writing a comment on a prototype it's really easy to hit "return" and submit the comment. After the fact I actually meant to pin the comment to the artboard. Presently I have to copy the comment, delete it, then paste into a new comment then click "Pin to artboard". It would be nice to have a button in edit mode or next to the edit button where I can pin the comment to the artboard after I've submitted it.6 votes
Thanks for your feedback! You can now add and edit pins after you’ve submitted your comment. Let us know how it works for you!
I have been using XD a lot and have been publishing prototypes for developers and stakeholders.
I have found that more often than not they are using the bottom page scroll more than using the clickable links inside the prototype.
This is causing confusion when the workflow isn't linear as they are view the prototype as a slideshow instead of an interactive prototype.6 votes
You can now control this in the Share for Review screen by unchecking “Show Navigation Control” when you publish.
Since preview 2 (apr edition) prototypes are taking a fair bit longer to load.5 votes
We’re constantly updating our sharing service to ensure that you get a great experience while sharing. If you’ve continued to see slowdown, please do file a bug in UserVoice.
Back, forward and home buttons in online share modus, outside of the design area.4 votes
We’ve placed a persistent home button and support left and right even if you have interactions defined. The back and forward button on your browser should also work now. Try it out and let us know what you think!
hi, me and my team (UX) would like to have the ability to share the XD presentation online with dev or PMs on view mode - now they need to have an adobe account to view our presentations- so that's a problem :/2 votes
Sorry, this seems to have slipped through the cracks! You can already share publicly (or add a password) with your PMs and devs. They don’t need to have an account to access your work. Hope that helps!
Version : 0.8.22.17 Beta, CS 188.8.131.52
Click the share button in the top right corner and select "Share again".
The "Update link" and "New link" buttons look exactly the same. Several times I have come to press the wrong button. In 100% of the cases, I want to update the existing link. I would therefore argue that it makes sense to emphasize this as a primary action.2 votes
Thanks for the followup! We did change the publish dialog to make update the primary.
When generating prototypes to share online - I only see options to share again or update. What if i just want to copy the link again? Have come across this several times. Would be super helpful to have access to previously shared link there. Am I just not seeing it? Thanks.2 votes
This should be fixed.
It would be very helpful if it was possible to simply export a self-contained HTML demo from Adobe XD. This means it would export all artboards as HTML pages, with links available between them as defined in the Prototype mode into a single folder on my computer. No need for internet access, cloud access, or enterprise security accommodations... just an export to a local folder.
From there, I can decide the best means to share it with users or other stakeholders, using whatever means my company allows.
Non-cloud publishing is already available for enterprise accounts. I’ve followed up with contact information to get the OP (who has a CC Enterprise account) connected with the right person.
Would be very helpful not to require clients/stakeholders to create an Adobe account simply to review their comps. This could be sandboxed within private links to solve security concerns (ie., if they have the link, they can be assumed safe to allow comments from). Many clients won't do so, forcing to send a JPG or PDF via Dropbox instead, which defeats the purpose of having used a prototyping tool.1 vote
Thanks for your feedback! We actually allow this already – if a user accesses a prototype, they can enter as a guest and leave a comment after just typing in their name and passing a CAPTCHA. Hope that helps!
The current position of the 'duration since a comment was written' has confused a few people, due to it's proximity to the 'Reply' link. I've attached a screenshot - see the second comment.
Upon initial glance, it appears that the time since the comment was created actually refers to the reply, rather than the original comment. The line reads "1 reply 3 days ago". In this case, '3 days ago' refers to the time since the initial comment, and is unrelated to the reply action.1 vote
We’ve adjusted the way we present comments in the past year. Now, the comment is in the upper right corner of the comment, while the reply button is in the lower left hand corner. Please feel free to file another ticket if you feel like additional improvements need to be made!
To comment on a shared prototype link currently, we have to type the comment and then select where on the prototype we'd like to place the comment. This is very counter-intuitive because the comment bar on the bottom right feels disconnected from the prototype.
If I could pick a location first and then type the comment directly next to it, then that will help me remember what I'm commenting about.
Also, it would be great to highlight a comment more prominently when its corresponding icon/number is clicked on the prototype. Right now its a very subtle background change.1 vote
in the past year, we’ve made improvements to our commenting panel, including the ability to place the pin before commenting.
I'm missing an option to mark and comment on the online (published) preview image. this feature can be very useful in the design and develop meeting when other members of the team comment on the mockup design.1 vote
This feature already exists in the published prototype. Click on the speech bubble in the upper right corner of the published prototype to be able to comment (and pin comments) to the artboard.
"As a web viewer, it was not clear that I can add comments." It appears that the input field for adding notes may be so far down on the page on large monitors that it is being missed. See attached screen shot with notes notations.1 vote
We moved the comment input field to the top of the panel a while back. Closing this feature request!
I work with a file that in the beginning was just a wirefrsame clickdummie and now is a full UI clickdummie. When I shared it online the first time, I uploaded an icon to provide the Share Online link. Back by now the project had a complete other name and logo and the icon doesn’t fit well anymore …
Is there the possibility to change the Icon? I didn’t find the request here yet …1 vote
You can change the icon by dragging a new image over the existing icon in the sharing popup.
