Ability to turn off Coediting
Add the ability to turn off coediting. It's creating all kinds of issues, and can't be turned off. It's absolutely appalling that this feature would be introduced without the ability to turn it off after enabling it.
And, for the love of all that is good, provide a simple option to set the frequency or DISABLE AUTOSAVE!!! The designers don't want us developers modifying the master file in the cloud every time we need to quickly remove some foreground layers to export a background component.
Apparently this has been a major issue people struggle with for YEARS - https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/32537482-remove-auto-save
Come on Adobe, you can do better... Having a feature to enable but no disable is like giving a login feature but you're always logged in..
Also, while you're at it, add the option to enable coediting on per-user basis. I want to share with my co-designers but not my developers etc... So, I need to pick and choose.
Turned this on to collaborate with another designer in real time, slightly laggy so went to turn it off. Erm, what? How is there no option to disable this??
Come on Adobe, you HAVE to know that having a beta feature (BETA!), that you can enable, but not disable is a terrible TERRIBLE TERRIBLE idea!!!
Having significant issues with coediting and need to turn it off, too. It's making many of our files inaccessible to anyone.
Ya po weon es una herramienta basica. Arreglen la wea!

seiously adobe. how did this make it through QA without this feature. Having issues again with my master design template file on the recent release and non of my team can access "The latest copy of the document has not yet been synced from another computer. Please try again in a few moments." ... give me the ability to turn off this piece of garbage until its out of "beta". Very very very close to abandoning our entire XD adventure and going over to Figma. Countless days wasted because of this one feature alone
Please create an ability to turn coediting off before trying to fix all the issues it causes

This is an amazing lol.
Nice tool, but in the moment you have more than 3 completed artboards it goes nuts. Also, the amount of work lost because of this is crazy.
Hope this solution comes up soon.
Hey, like others couldn't have imagined that the file will no longer work locally after enabling co-editing. Kinda bummed about losing the version history like that.

turned this on our core design system file. now the file thats linked to lots of projects is constantly trying to reconnect. unimaginable that you would give users access to turn on a beta feature without turning it off. Also you should give CLEAR warnings as to the ramifications of a beta feature if you dont allow them to turn it off. I was thinking ah this could be nice lets see what it can do - not lets irrevocably change my file and break the workflow of 30+ users!
Go to FILE > SAVE AS and rename it and save it. somewhere in you Adobe Creative Cloud folder for example, the window will still be open. After that select FILE > SAVE AS and select cloud document.
Coediting is disabled.

Coediting was enabled by default in my project after the new update 26.0.22 and whenever I lock the screen and come back in 5 minutes or so I get a dialog box saying "Trying to Reconnect. Coediting is unavailable while offline. I don't have any firewalls set up nor there is slower connection speed.

Yes please!! SO frustrating, I can't make any changes to my design system reliably now!
I'm also facing same issue like others. I can't edit file while there is limited network, Its keep on asking me to save as the file. The file contains publishing details which we already shared with clients. We just need to update and republish the files.
Coediting turn off option is really required, I don't know how adobe can do such small mistake. Please release new version without coediting or fix the issue and release asap.
upvote, it should be implemented as workaround until the co-editing functionality is not tested and debugged properly

Yes, this is a disaster. How can @adobe give a feature to turn on but forgot to give the turn off function...
When are we getting this functionality? This Coediting is a disaster!

I can't imagine a company pushing a beta feature without an option to revoke it. It is mind blowing, exactly what happens when a company gets in a monopoly position and stop carring for anything. Really apalling.
