Text selection highlight color on Windows should invert
When selecting text (via drag selection or double clicking a word), it will display the blue highlight boundary. There are some UI kits that use this blue as part of their wireframing palette making it impossible to see the text highlight when you have text on top of this color.
Ideally, the selection highlight should just invert the color underneath it so you can always see the boundary.

Hello, I looked online and it appears that this is something that windows 10 no longer supports. It sounds like in the past users could change their selection highlight on an OS level but not with Win 10 unless you start to dig into the registry values.
I changed the registry values to get a new highlight text to appear - the interesting thing is this updated the color for all programs other than Adobe XD so it appears to be hardcoded to the default blue value.
Additionally, I'm watching some adobe XD tutorial videos and the selection highlights in the older versions seem to be working differently with it highlighting as expected (at least on the mac when viewing videos of mac users) - so I'm guessing something is broken for the windows version.

From what I can tell, none of the other programs are using the windows selection highlight and this is not something easily exposed to windows users (I just did a google search and it appears you have to edit registry keys to change this on an OS level).
In applications like word and photoshop, it inverts it and doesn't care about what the OS is set to. I've attached an image showing how selection works in Word as well as this same color value being used in Photoshop and how it's handled there. It would be great if this worked the same way in XD. Thanks!
