Change aspect ratio of icons (Spark)
I submitted a Spark "bug" to customer care and was redirected here for some reason. Here is my issue:
In Spark (Android, but also Win 10/chrome), I was previously able to change the aspect ratio of *at least one rectangle icon. I used this capability frequently.
This would allow me to add a rectangle icon to my image and then change the shape to tall and skinny or wide and narrow and every aspect ratio in between. It was "unlocked".
It now appears that the rectangle icon I was using has now been "locked" (along with all the others) -- and this has completely disrupted my workflow.
Why this is important:
I want to place a rectangle behind text and manually match it to the aspect ratio of the text.
Process:
I start with an image (background), add text, and then place a rectangle behind the text and conform it to the shape of the text.
Because the aspect ratio of the text changes, it is vital to have the ability to change the aspect ratio of rectangles (and other shapes would be nice).
I don't understand why this feature was removed unless someone thought it was a bug. It wasn't a bug. It was a much-needed feature.
- [ I say I was able to change "at least one" in the sense that I discovered one rectangle icon that was "unlocked" and began using that one extensively by duplicating a previous workfile and then changing everything to fit my needs.
Since many of the filled rectangles look very similar (except for the aspect ratio), I cannot say exactly which one it was. ]
