Improve contrast in measurement decorations
The distance between objects hotkey is amazing, but very often hard to read, due to the overlap of other objects or background colors. I've attached two examples where the distance between objects is very hard to see.
Putting the measurement in a box would make sure it is always easy to read

The size issue on Enable Measurements (Alt) is too small on the Large (34") monitor screen.
I'm an Adobe XD user and I have a 34" monitor. I'm having trouble getting my eyes closer to the monitor because the Measurements (Alt) view is too small.
I request for a large size setting of +- Measurements (Alt) for a widescreen monitor (example: 34").
And when I use a red background. The Measurements (alt) color becomes faint/not visible..

The existing pink color could be changed when the background approached the same color

Sometimes when I inspect the distance between two objects the value show is hard to read because the number is write in pink and the background is pink too. It would be nice to fix it like in Photoshop where the value is on a pink background and writing in white. Here's what its currently looks like (Image 30.png) and the other image is the fix like in Photoshop (Image 31.png).
On dark backgrounds its very hard to see the distance measurement numbers between objects. I suggest to put some high contrast background behind the numbers so they are more visible.
My dumb solution is illustrated here, I decrease the opacity of the dark object so I can see the numbers. :)))
It's a bad user experience...

I agree, this is often an issue for me, as well. Another possible solution, maybe in addition to putting the measurement in a white box, would be to allow the user to choose the color for the measurement decorations in Preferences (once Preferences is enabled), similar to how you can choose guide colors in Illustrator.

Agree, especially as a colorblind designer :) I love your fix.
