Even though I know to use PS create digital assets are time consuming and complicated the steps, but still a lot of my client they ask for PSD files even after I told them I use XD to build the design.. so I hope can at least has this feature. or at least a plug in. Thanks.

After discussing this limitation with my design team, and due to business reasons we need certain features of Photoshop that XD does not have, my design team will not be using XD for any future projects any longer.
It has cost us money and mistakes convert from one format to another to achieve what we need.
Nice idea, but more of a toy than a tool.

Please add this feature convert to PSD from XD natively within Adobe suite. XD does not allow a developer to export assets in all the possible scenarios I need.
Currently I am exporting what I need out of XD as SVG to open in Illustrator to Open in photoshop. One. Asset. At. A. Time.
Tool is great for prototyping, but actually creates twice as much work for designers and developers who actually need to build websites using these files.
Quite surprising that we cant open the xd file in photoshop. It's a must have feature since some people explicitly ask for psd files after we have created the designs on Adobe XD.

Realmente facilitaria muito poder exportar .xd para .psd e o contrário tmb é verdade ; )

I really like XD and want to use it more. The fact that i can't export to PS stops me. This should be your top priority.

I like working XD for website and UI design development, however my clients often want psd files and there is no means to export in this format.
Given that so many Adobe products play so nicely together Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator it is a surprise that XD doesn't interact.
Please add this feature to your list.

200000 years later and still no change.
XD is fantastic, I presented my work to the customer who was enthusiastic ...
Then to pass the job to the Web Agency I had to redo everything in Photoshop :-(
Please enter this feature as soon as possible

I need export features. How?? I design in XD and export in PSD format. So we provide PSD file to our clients.

Hi, I can't stress how needed this feature is within XD. It is very important to be able to export to more than just images and PDFs. There is still a high demand for photoshop use and most developers and studios world wide require this format when supplying final artwork on projects.
Even though XD is free to use, in corporate environments IT manage users workstations for security reasons. Only a handful of approved software are allowed to run and system managers prevent users from installing their own software. Photoshop by default is an approved application for creative departments.
The overall point I'm trying to make is, Photoshop is still a standard across the board, and we need to be able to save out our XD projects to be read by legacy software.

No color management, no export to psd, Adobe don't you have any designer around? Are you joking with us? I am really forcing myself to continue using xd but i can't get true colors, i can't send files to my customer, i don't know how long i can keep myself using this.
Psd is also your format you remember Adobe?
Like another commenter, I'm building rich-media assets but an XD file is completely useless to my dev partners. They need layered PSDs. You need to fix this Adobe, real quick or watch a lot of designers walk away from XD in droves because while it's a fantastic tool, it's utterly useless in a commercial digital production environment.

this is a MUST. XD should be able to export to Photoshop and Illustrator
I see this has been "under review" for 3 years now.
The ability to export from XD to PSD isn't "nice to have," it's a requirement for many of us. I freelance on several sites where clients only want layered PSD files as deliverables. I like XD but I can't use it, because it doesn't give me the ability to deliver what paying clients are asking for.
