Export Artboard as high quality image
As we haven’t seen a response to our question in three months, I’m marking it as inactive. Please do feel free to file it again if you have a more concrete suggestion!
Export as PDF and then open the PDF in Ilustrator :)

I'm using a Plugin for every export. The plugin name is Custom Export.

Export the artborad in svg format and open the svg file in photoshop. then save as to JPG or PNG. when you open the svg file in photohop it opens in 300 resolution
Yes, I have the same issue, trying to export high res png/jpg from XD for powerpoint presentations. All options for jpgs and pngs (following the Web, Android, iOS options) when adding the image to a ppt file, the quality is not great.
I have exported it as pdf and importing in Illustrator and exporting as assets from there, but some gradient colour changes when doing from a pdf with several pages. If doing with a single pdf page, it works well, but that would be time consuming if you have lots of screens to export.
Hey, Try Exporting in SVG format and it worked for me. Just give it a try!
Hi, I have the same question. The last Admin said you could choose the DPI of the artboard, but I've tried all the export options and there is not one that is high-res enough. It would be great if you could just type in whatever number [#]x you want. Like in Sketch, where they have the field in the bottom right when you export. There is no size limit.
I need to print out my screens on a large poster for a client, so I need to be able to export the screens at a HUGE resolution that isn't normally used for digital formats. I shouldn't have to re-build the screens in a different program just so I can export at a larger size. Please add this!!
Does anyone actually export an artboard as an entire piece for development use?? with x1 x2 x3, pretty redundant.
As a mobile app designer, i have 2 audience I need to share my work with:
1st stakeholders - would be great to have an option to export selected artboard quickly into jpg /png at any desired size for this particular audience. Just like save for web feature on PS. At this point the quality of the exported images are just bad. I still use prototype to present works, but often i also need to export images and put up a presentation slides, share a jpg to someone etc...
2nd group of audience - production, this is where as designer, i can keep the original artboard size and export easily into the necessary device sizes which in current version gets the job done very well.
Hope this give some insights to improve further
Export it to PDF and re-render in photoshop
Can not export hight resolution image, the maixum level is 3X, it's not big enough!
I just started using XD this month and have the same problem: the export quality of all formats (except for pdf) is extremely poor. Is there any solution to fix this? Otherwise, what's the point of designing in XD if you cannot export anything...
we all want this, why there's no votes I don't know, currently there is no good high res export available, it restricts the 'x' number, why can't I enter a value? and svg and pdf, forget it, nothing exports like it should, with text artifacts, letter jumbling up, it;s awfukl

Not entirely sure what you are asking for, you can currently export an artboard at any one of 1x - 4x of original design size (in pixels), when exporting just select export for web, or iOS, or Android and you'll be given the choice to choose a high dpi version of your artboard.
